AboutThis is a community dedicated to the posting of vampire related fiction. This can be fan-fic, or fiction based on your own vampire world that you've created.
Some rules to go by. (These may be modified at any time, at which point I will post notice.)
1. Please put long entries behind a cut tag!
2. If you are posting in segments (for example, posting a long story in chapters gradually over time), please label them as such, so that anyone reading your current entry can reference the older entry.
3. When you join the community, please introduce yourself and what 'world' of vampires you are interested in. (For example: 'I like Vampire: the Masquerade, especially the Brujah clan.' or 'I love Anita Blake books, and think Jean-Claude is sexay.') If you write, list what kind of fiction you write. (ex: 'I write Buffy fiction.')
4. Please proofread your entries before posting them. If you want someone to proofread them, please feel free to contact me and I will be glad to. Just understand that I am very busy and it may not be right away. (And that I'm a grammar and spelling freak, and you may not get it back EXACTLY as you would think, though I try to be the least picky as I can.)
5. Crossover is allowed (example, mixing werewolves and vampires, or Buffy and Anne Rice), as long as the main theme centers around vampires.
6. No flaming! Constructive criticism only.
7. If you are seriously thinking about getting your writing published, look into copywright laws before you post on here. And NO STEALING OF OTHER PEOPLE'S WORK! I feel silly saying that, but I'd rather say it than not.
8. Please start your entries in the following format:
Type: (enter world here, such as Buffy)
Disclaimers: (enter disclaimer, blahblahblah)
Entry number: (if this is in chapters, enter the chapter number here, as well as the date of your last chapter posting, for referencing purposes.)
