Welcome to the Ville Valo Stillness Community. This is a weekly community challenge for Ville Valo icons. Each week a new challenge will be posted and members from the community will vote on their favorite icons. All entries are through comments so only the Mods will be able to post. Interested in becoming a Mod? Leave a comment here. Comment anywhere else and we will ignore it.
Rules
1. All entries must be in LJ icon format: 100x100 pixels, 40k, gif/jpg/png formats only.
2. Only use the image(s) posted for each challenge. Use any outside images and your icon will be disqualified.
3. Your entry must be YOUR CREATION ONLY. No bases made by any other users and no icons you've made previous to the challenge.
4. Brushes, texts, effects, colorizations are allowed. NO ANIMATIONS.
5. Keep your entries anonymous. Do not post them in other icon communities until the challenge voting is over. If you do your icon will be disqualified.
6. If you would like to use an icon posted for the challenge after it is over, get the creator's permission first and follow their rules for crediting.
Entries
1. For each challenge a Mod will post where you can reply with your entry. Post there only, any where else and your icon will be disqualified. Comments are screened so that only you and the Mods will be able to see them.
2. You are going to need a host, such as photobucket or imageshack. If we cannot see the image it will not be counted.
3. You must post your entries with the following format, img scr and url versions included:

Deadlines
Sunday night: Voting closes, winners are announced and a new challenge will be posted.
Monday - Friday: The time that you have to create your icons for the current challenge.
Friday night: The challenge closes and the voting will start.
Saturday - Sunday: Voting
Voting
1. You must be a member of the community to vote, non-members will not be counted.
2. If you vote for yourself your icon will be disqualified. Creating other accounts to vote for yourself is shamed upon and if you are caught doing this you will be banned from the community.
3. Do not ask people to vote for you. What would be the purpose of anonymous entries if you did that?
4. Every vote will be screened.
5. There will be a Mod's choice chosen each week, depending on if there are enough entries.
