About:

That mysterious part of the body that, for most of us, has been called another name for the majority of our lives. Girlie bits, private parts, down there are all shameful replacements for what it actually is:
VAGINA
Other, equally-important parts related to the vagina include but are not limited to: vulva, labia minora, labia majora, clitoris, clitoral hood, urethra, perineum...

Rules:
1. Ask questions. The most dangerous thing to your health is an unwillingness or inability to communicate and be direct. Ask questions! This community will be "staffed" with knowledgeable people who will have consistently good information.

2. Be clear! Know your body! Don't be ashamed to name the part that hurts. It may feel weird at first to call your body part by its real name, but the more you do it, the more you'll love it and come to respect it.

3. Enjoy yourself. Our bodies are fabulous, wonderful things that deserve to be enjoyed and respected. Unfortunately, a lot of us have learned to be shameful and secretive about them and embarrassed to ask questions. This is the place to feel comfortable to do so.

If you have a question, expect to get honest answers, suggestions, and reactions. You should never be ridiculed or mocked, however. This does not mean all of the responses will be in total agreement with you or fluffy, happy answers. Sometimes the truth is a little uncomfortable OR there's misinformation you've been given that requires serious education. This is not the same as ridicule or mocking. If you feel uncomfortable for any reason, feel free to email any of the moderators/maintainers for one-on-one conversation about your question or situation.

If you see misinformation being given, please do speak up either to the poster, the commenter, or alert a mod so that they can address the problem if you are uncomfortable with confrontation. It is very dangerous to let some things be believed without correction.
