WellButrin SR and having difficulty reaching orgasm
I've always had a hard time having an orgasm during sex... until I met my current boyfriend about a year ago. I had an orgasm almost every single time while I was on top, no joke. I couldn't believe it! We broke up about a month after we had first met and then he contacted me in July of this year and we've been back together ever since. I started taking WellButrin SR (anti-depressant) back in March of this year. Ever since then, it is very difficult for me to have an orgasm during sex now. Nothing else has changed and so it would make sense, that the pill has somehow effected my ability to have an orgasm. I can have one if I use my vibrator but it takes much longer and I can only have a clitoral orgasm rather than a g spot orgasm.
I went off of it for about a month and a half... but didn't notice a difference as far as reaching an orgasm and I decided to go back on it because I was started to notice a big change mood wise.
I don't know what to do. I feel like this pill is helping my depression but the orgasm situation is starting to get on my nerves. I get so close but haven't actually had one during sex in almost a year. I'm not sure if switching pills would solve the problem because I believe most anti-depressants affect orgasms. I specifically asked my doctor to put me on a pill that was inexpensive and one that didn't increase your appeite because I already have problems with my weight which is the reason why she put me on WellButrin.
Any ideas or thoughts? Is there anything I can do to make it easier for me to have an orgasm?
