period after taking Plan B
i looked in the achieves and found lots of useful information but nothing touching on my issue.

this is my first time posting here, usually i come here for info and find what im looking for without having to post :o)

so anyways, i took plan B May 9th, i experienced upset stomach and a gassy feeling. i got my period on time May 22nd. Now the question i have is, when i got my period on May 22nd, i had no cramps and really no blood flow. When i would wipe there would be period blood and when i pee'd it would come out in the toilet with lots of clots and mucous. Normally, i have a medium to heavy flow with cramps the first day...but nada

has anyone experienced this? should i consider this my period, and wait until June to see if it's regular again?

Thanks ladies!

Plan B is a megadose of hormones and many people find that their periods are messed up (late, early, heavy, light, clotty, missing) for a month or two. When your period gets back on track, it might follow a different pattern. This is all pretty common, and even makes sense.

What was said above, with the notation that some women's cycles are a little wonky for up to three months after Plan B.

I'd advise taking a pregnancy test sometime in early June, just in case, but the odds are really on "Plan B does wonky stuff to periods."
