uweremybrother, LiveJournal's first community specifically dedicated to the relationship between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker from the "Star Wars" saga! Inspired by communities like quiobisupport, we encourage discussion, shipping, fanfiction, and/or just general appreciation of the obvious connection between these two men.
As such, this means that we are slash-friendly. Please do not join/post with the express purpose of trolling because you think it's "gross" or "immoral" or "stupid" on the grounds that slash is "not canon". You will be banned, no questions asked. Also, please avoid making introductory posts proclaiming nothing but your predilection for Obi-Wan/Anakin - it's implied in your membership.
If you wish to post fanfiction, we ask that you use a cut-tag and properly label it (ratings, any other pairings, any potentially squicky content, etc.). If you don't know how to do this, we encourage you to consult the LiveJournal FAQ. Similarly, if you have an exceptionally long bit of meta (i.e.: citing reasons from the RotS novelization why Obi-Wan and Anakin love each other where you include numerous book quotes), a cut would be appreciated there, as well. Same goes with particularly large pictures. Not everybody has a high speed connection, yet.
We don't completely discourage talking about relationships that these characters have with other people (read: Obi-Wan's apprenticeship with Qui-Gon, or Anakin's romance with Padme and/or relationship with Palpatine), but we definitely prefer this in the vein of how Anakin/Padme, for instance, affects Obi-Wan/Anakin, either positively or negatively. We don't mind this including EU characters (such as Ferus Olin, Anakin's rival from the Jedi Quest book series by Jude Watson), but we would prefer that you avoid RPS (Real Person Slash) discussion.
