loooooong day. tomorrow should be better. I got some studying done. Amazing how much I know about law from watching Law & Order.

I'm at my mother's tonight. I can't hardly stand to look at LJ on her computer, especially my journal. It never seems to matter what my layout is, the color always looks fucked up. I'm sure it has more to do with looking at it on my computer all the time, than anything. I'm so used to the way the colors look on my computer that it's odd seeing them on hers. But it's more than that, the screen always has this convex look. I tried to fix it when I was living here, but I couldn't figure out what setting was making it look like that. Also, I always have to zoom in the text, even on the default LJ pages.

But on the plus side, I hadn't used Pandroa Radio in a long time. I'd forgotten how cool it was. You enter a song/artist that you like, and it plays music that it think you'd like, you give a thumbs up or thumbs down and it adjusts based on what you like.

Oh hell, I just saw a thing saying that they have Pandora for the iPhone. As if I didn't already want one. Damn it. I don't want AT&T!

I finally noticed that I have some new friends, so I went on a friending spree. I friended almost everyone back, except for people who never post in their journal, people who make entries in a language I can't read(pout) or who are lurking.

Did anyone watch the "Making of: True Blood" special on HBO? Lot's of blood and gore in this show. Which is never scary just gross. I'm sure I'll become immune.

Oh, and they showed a brief clip of Eric with his long hair and sleeveless shirt. *le drool*

So, another school year has begun. My baby is a 7th grader this year. Not much has changed, since she was in Middle School beginning last year in 6th grade, but she's older (so am I) and is growing into her body (so am I, never you mind!)

I luff her to death and I'm so proud of her.

Housemate Marie has been really fucking difficult these last few days. She has had timme off work and nothing much to do and she has been stomping from room to room in the house, banging things arround and making pointed comments about how can I just sit there and do nothing all day when it is obvious that I am not. Alright, I'm not rushing round and meeting people and claening but I am sat quietly doing my art, or reading, or writing and generally being creative, and I tell you it is not fucking easy with her making the house feel as uncomfortable as she is. I have taken to retreating into my bedroom and I don't intend to come out. I shouldn't be made to feel guilty and on edge just for wanting to sit quietly because she is incapable of it!

In other news, artwork continues apace. I am 3/4 of the way through a new mayan styled piece of linework. I'm having trouble deciding what to add as detail at the top of the pic to balance it.
Also the washing machine has broken, so we can't do any laundry here :@ The landlord looed at it on mon and said he would come round today to bring a replacement. So I'm waiting on that. I hope he does turn up soon as I am running out of clean underwear ^^

argh pmog and laundry ate my whole night. so tired.

I finished up the Interest Icons for the people that requested them from this entry. There is still one more spot left. I'm kind of insecure about that, but, oh well. Maybe some people didn't see the entry when I posted it. Hm.

Anyway! For some of you it was really a challenge to make icons for, but fun. I steered away from fandom icons, except for the one person who specifically requested a celebrity. And he was easy to find a picture for. I was trying to stick to making icons with stock photography, mainly so I wouldn't have to go looking through hundreds of thousands of fandom screencaps and pictures (that I probably would have had to download btw) and try to guess what you would like. It would have taken me forever. *phew* So if you got an icon that makes you think, "Er?", you had mostly fandom stuff listed in your interests and I didn't know what else you liked, that's why. Hee.

If you had things like - kitties, rocks, leaves, hot chocolate, cars, etc., in your interests is was pretty easy.

I got carded at the grocery store today! Well, not actually carded. I had a six pack of Samuel Adams in my cart and the lady at the checkout counter asked me if I was 21. I looked at her and laughed because I thought she was joking. But she was dead serious. Although, I think she would have asked to see my I.D. if she really was questioning how old I look. Gone are the days when I could pass for 21. *sigh*

I DID IT! HOLY SHIT AND JESUS AND EVERYTHING SACRED EVERYWHERE! I did it! I finally got five stars on Surrender on medium! I didn't think that was ever going to happen! Until tonight, I had five stars on every other song that didn't make me feel like I was going to break my hands to play it, but I could not get fucking Surrender for anything, and it's in the first damn group!

BUT I HAVE TRIUMPHED!

I hate my new manager so fucking much! I'm pissed as hell that Holly didn't get the position, and right now I'm too fucking pissed to go into any details. If I didn't like my position so much I'd transfer to another department in a heart beat. In fact, I would have transfered as soon as it was announced that she was our new manager. She is an uncaring, unapproachable, snotty little bitch who thinks her shit don't stink and everyone else is replicable.

I also hate Sprint. Apparently, right now I can call out, but I'm not getting calls.

Oh, and I woke up 20min before I had to punch in to work today, and if I call out or am late before the end of October, I'm out of a job. So the day started off with a bang. Me jumping out of bed, cussing up a storm, and running (literally, I don't drive and live about a 10min walk from work) to work in 14min. I was out the door in six and hitting the time clock in another eight. Though after dealing with Shanna today, part of me wishes I hadn't made it.

I'm going to eat my leftover pizza, drink a Bacardi, and maybe take a nap.

My name used to be "realtanala", but I never felt comfortable with it. So I tried some different names and ultimately chose "endlessdeep" because it is the name of a U2 song and it also speaks to my love of the beach/ocean. I think it fits me better all around.

MY LAYOUT HAS BEEN RE-VAMPED! (ETA: It's very green, now) Again. I've been wanting to mess with my layout for awhile, and I've got a Metallicar header that I really like, but it needs text and I can't get anything to work, so that one's on hold. Anyway, I was just fucking around in Photoshop and I made this. Then I decided I wanted to do something with it. My new header is the result.

I actually had this red gradient on there that I really liked, but I already had a layout with colors that fit the green (with just a bit of tweaking) so I went with that. I hate trying to get my colors set when I change layouts. I figure I'll only have this one until I get some text working for my Metallicar, so I'm not going to go through the headache of setting all new colors.

Anyway, let me know what you think. Not that I can really change anything on the header because I forgot to save the damn .psd file! *rage*
