us_of_tara is a community for the fans of Showtime’s new show ‘United States of Tara’. United States of Tara is about a woman named Tara, who has DID. DID, or Dissociative Identity Disorder, causes her to have multiple personalities like T, the pot smoking 15 year old, or Buck, the beer drinking, chain smoking Vietnam war vet.At the moment, the community only has one moderator,

COMMUNITY RULES
1) Please follow Livejournal’s Terms of Service.
2) No offtopic discussions, please. This community is to discuss the show, it’s characters, plot ideas, and anything else as long as it has something to do with the show. Even questions about DID are allowed. Just, please, no questions asking what other members favorite cheeses are.
3) If you have a question about DID, please lock the post. This is to try and keep things from being posted to snark communities.
4) If you post any locked entry to a snark community, you will be banned. No warnings, no slap on the wrist.
5) NO TROLLING. Any trolls will be automatically banned.
6) Please, be courteous to others, and act like reasonable adults. Tantrums and rudeness towards other members will not be tolerated, and anyone caught doing so will be warned.
7) If you see anyone breaking any of these rules, please contact the moderator through an LJ message to let her know, so things can be taken care of as soon as possible.
If you are caught breaking any of these rules, the following will happen:
First offenders receive warnings.
Second offenders will receive another warning.
Third offenders will receive a three day band.
Fourth offenders will receive a week long band.
And fifth offenders will be permanently banned, and their IP address will be noted.
Noting IP addresses of permanently banned members will be used only and ONLY for the sole purpose of checking trolls and the IP addresses of members causing trouble. Sockpuppets of banned members and trolls WILL NOT be tolerated in this community.
