Hey everyone. :D I made a video about the lovely AtU cast using behind-the-scenes footage from the DVD. I hope you like it!

I received the Across the Universe soundtrack for Christmas, and the cover art included some very pretty pictures. I thought I would scan them for anyone in the fandom who hasn't seen them. You might recognize a few from the promo pictures, but there are some that we may not be able to come by until the DVD, including a closer look at the Just Passing Through drawing. These are mostly for viewing pleasure, because I don't know if anyone would want to do anything with them, but if you'd like to use them for personal use, that's fine with me. :D Enjoy!

I want to tacklehug everyone who has joined the community so far! It's pretty awesome to have 33 people watching the community after only two days and a half. Thanks so much, everybody. ♥ You guys are great. I hope that we can get things going along in a little bit. It's a weird thing to have to get a community started, especially one like this where the topic can be a sort of scary thing to approach.

So, I thought I'd get the ball rolling in a fairly typical way: A DISCUSSION & PIMP POST! Wooo! Basically, in this entry, discuss anything you love concerning the cast - a video, a picture, etc. Go crazy! I'll start.

I just watched this again today and I think it's so adorable. It does lack Joe and T.V., but it still serves nevertheless. Martin Luther has such a breathtaking voice! And the four stars seemed to have a lot of fun singing on stage. Jim looked so giddy when he sang All My Loving, and Evan's twirl around him was sweet. ♥

And that's my magnificent contribution. ;) Your turn!

The community is 100% new, and because it's the first AtU community concerning the cast and shipping its members, there are some things that need to be established. If you've just found this community, and don't know where to look first, skip this entry for now and head on over to the community info. All of the posting guidelines are there, as is a brief summary of what, for now, is the community's main premise. Done reading that? This very entry could use some attention!

Interests
As of November 15th, the community only has 21 interests. If you have an interest you would like to add to the list, please comment with it here! As we are an AtU Cast Shipping community, shippy interests are most encouraged. As of right now, there are only two ship interests: jim/evan and joe anderson/jim sturgess. This community is for other AtU cast ships as well, however - I just don't know how many people would be interested in them. Again, if you do have one in mind (and it can be anything at all, like Dana/Bono if that's what floats your boat!), please comment with it so it can be added!

Welcome to universe_real! This is a community for anyone who wishes to squee over the lovely cast of Julie Taymor's masterpiece, Across the Universe. Yes, it is a community dedicated to the cast, but it is also a Real Person Shipping community. It's all in good fun, whether it be through writing fic, making graphics, or just having a grand old squee - we're not actually stating that any members of the cast are together in a romantic sense, nor do we disrespect the people that they are in reality involved with.
