My turn
I'm linking to this fascinating article about the forgotten Jewish sex slaves in Auschwitz:

http://liz-marcs.livejournal.com/328621.html

And to counterbalance that story just a little, this is most heart-warming story I saw this week: injured softballer carried around by the opposing team for her home run

Yes, it sounds like the brothels are only becoming known now. When it's just about too late to get eye witness information.

I hadn't known about the brothels, but it makes perfect sense. If a society of thugs is willing to murder people simply for their ethnicity, certainly it's also willing to exploit them sexually or in any other way it can. Thank you for the reminder of how recently these atrocities occurred.

It was new to me too, and I was disgusted at everything I learnt, and yet, it seemed to fit.

A gay-activist friend told me that Nazi sexual abuse of homosexuals is also documented. Again, it fits the overall pattern of abuse inherent in right-wing thought.

Forgotten?!?!

Anybody who was listening to any alternative music in the last thirty years may have heard of a slightly famous band called "Joy Division" whose name is a direct reference to the sex slaves.

It is very well known, or at least to those who have studies a modicum of 20th century history. A very famous novel was published in 1950s called "The House of Dolls" was dedicated to the issue. It is also mentioned in the autobiography of the Jewish-Nazi collaborate Stella Goldschlag.

Further, I don't see the issue of using the phrase Kristallnacht for a title of an RPG story. What's the outrage supposed to be? In fact it would be great to use the events (the pogroms, the rounding up, the mass of people frustrated, horrified but not intevening) in the RPG context as an aid to explain the historical event.
