Welcome to unique_ish! We are a rating community that looks for those individuals with a special flare to them. However, we don't rate you based on looks, how many underground bands you listen too, or other non-essential crap. We judge you by who you are as a person, and how you stand out from everyone else. In unique_ish:

1. We rate you based on a very unique application. Some questions require you to come up with things out of the top of your head, while others are short answer essay questions.

2. We're all about fun! We throw in some completely random questions just so we can gather more flavor and information out of you. They may seem silly at first, but they mean something! Go figure!

3. We're open to all kinds of people! Unless you're an idiot, you won't be discriminated against here! :)

//Basic Rules for those *APPLYING*//

1- Please fill out the application in full (except for the photo, which is optional) and submit under an *LJ-CUT* as *FRIENDS ONLY*

2- Bold your questions. Livejournal has added a rich text format so this will be easier.

3- More "yes" than "no" votes gets you accepted. More "no" votes than "yes" votes gets you rejected. If you are rejected, please leave quietly and don't cause drama. You are allowed to apply again whenever you like. However, 3 strikes, and you're out for good.

4- A moderator may override your acceptance or rejection. No ands, ifs, or buts.

5- Do not post or comment anywhere else besides your application. Do not comment on another's application without a stamp.

6- Please allow 3-5 days until you receive your stamp. The mods have been very busy lately, but we try to do things as speedy as possible for your convenience. :)

\\Basic Rules for those *ACCEPTED*\\

1- Please display your stamp in your userinfo. If you're a picky person, a simple link back to the community is fine. Failure to do this may result in a moderator removing your ability to participate in theme weeks and voting.

2- Please provide a legitimate reason along with your vote. Remember not to discriminate. (Ex: Yes because you like the band Nirvana). That is unacceptable.

3- Be open-minded. We are looking for people who stand out in a good and positive way.

4- You can be honest, but don't be brutal. Constructive criticism is fine, but saying something like "your artwork sucks" is frowned upon. Rawr.

5- We're all busy people, we understand that. Just as long as you remain an active member, you won't be deleted. You don't have to participate in *every single theme month*, but we encourage you to post regularly with your thoughts, ideas, artwork, writing, etc. After all, this community is here to celebrate YOU! ;)
