Unholy Union is a community for fanfiction authors and fanart artists to post, discuss, publicize ("pimp"), and recommend their work. Please feel free, if you have a SamCham community, to request affiliation; we'd be glad to add you to the list below!

Please restrict posts in this comm to fanworks only; if you want to discuss the series or manga itself, the music, the voice actors, or ask people questions about all of the above, please visit

Strict formatting of fics and recs is not necessary; this community should be fun, not feel like you're filling out tax forms. However, it would be nice if you included the recommended stuff for headings as listed below.

-rules-
1. Pimping of fics and fanarts, while most heartily encouraged, should be restricted to the SamCham fandom only.
2. All fic posts must be behind an lj-cut, spell-checked and have a reasonable attempt at proper grammar and punctuation.
3. All ratings, pairings, and genres are welcome. Bashing of characters or pairings will likely result with several people telling you to go fuck yourself, so be prepared for some unpleasant fallout if you choose to bash. REITERATION: we're ~~pretending to be~~ adults here. Don't dish it out if you can't take it.
4. Free expression is encouraged. If you post something here, expect that you might be receiving constructive criticism (i.e., we don't insist upon only positive, "gushing" reviews). However, flames are not permitted. Flames will be deleted and flamers banned for a undetermined and probably arbitrary period of time. Repeat offenders will be banned permanently.
5. Posts are never moderated or screened, but they will be deleted if they are flames.
6. If you're reccing a fic, please tell us why you think it's so good.
7. It would be nice if all fics and recs contained the various elements of a header, indicated below. Failing to do so will likely result in my asking you to add or mend your header to include all fields.

-headers-
All entries should contain the following:
1. Title.
2. Rating. Believe it or not, some people don't like reading or viewing smut. We know, we don't understand it either. But there you go.
3. Squicks, so the faint of heart are warned before scorching their fragile retinas. The possibly squicksome consists of but is not confined to: slash/yaoi, femmeslash/yuri, character death, necrophilia, R and NC17 ratings, underage nookie, noncon, incest, excessive schmoop/fluff, etc.
4. Pairing is not so important, but you can include it if you like.

-note-
This is a community for mature people. You don't have to be over 18, but you do have to act like an adult. Being an adult means comprehending that not everyone will like your fic. Similarly, not everyone will agree with you about your OTP. If you can't handle people not sharing your opinion and can't show respect to others for theirs, this likely isn't going to be a fun place for you.
