NOTICE: Hey, I love you guys. :3 (to those of you who commented, anyway) Sadly, I see that the top brush set has 64 downloads, and the bottom one has 35 and there are only 12 lovely comments. PLEASE COMMENT IF YOU DOWNLOAD THESE BRUSHES. I was kind enough to say that you could use them without credit, so please show me a little courtesy and comment, so that I know I'm loved. *sad face*

Here are some lovely heart bases for you to use. I've made a few example icons out of them for you. This isn't necessarily for Valentine's Day (which was yesterday, I know), but the holiday put me in the mood for some hearts (plus, I have a snow day). The bases went through color enhancement, so they aren't as dull as I originally found them.
You may use the bases as icons, if you wish.

Told you my tutorial for creating brushsets would be in the near future, lmao. Here's a small tutorial to show you how to make your own brushset (this could go along with the tiny text tutorial located here).

Here I stand and wonder why )

Well, that's it for that one. You may create as many brush sets as you want and put them up for download. ^^ Just think, now you can start putting up your own brushes for download. I'll be doing a tutorial on how to alter saved brushes (that'll be a really short one) among others.

Also, be sure to add [info]undersea_design to your friends list or join the community to keep up with updates. Thank you so much for viewing my work. ^^ *loves comment* <<;;

Mistakes? Don't understand something? Want a particular tutorial for something? Leave me a comment, and let me know. :D

EDIT: Sorry about that broken link. It's only my second time using DeviantArt for this type of thing, heh. It's fixed now.

You see it in almost every icon or graphic that you encounter. It's what all the designers call "tiny text," and I'm going to show you how to make your very own tiny text brushes. This tutorial is for any version of Photoshop and will be presented using pictures. Also, I tried to explain it as if you've never even laid a finger on Photoshop before.

Let's go get that treasure, woo! )

This tutorial does not cover how to create brush sets. It only shows you how to create a "temporary brush." However, it DOES give you a better understanding. You can use this method for images as well. In the near future, I will be posted tutorials on how to take hand-drawn pictures and turn them into brushes (requires a scanner or maybe a really really good photographer) and how to create your own brush sets that can be selected from the brush preset menu (personal use or can be put up for download).
Please let me know if this tutorial helps. I spent a good two hours on this, and it'd be nice to know that people are getting some use out of it. Also, if you notice any mistakes, please let me know. If you're having trouble understanding something or you can't get a tool to work right, please comment, and I'll do a mini tutorial showing you how to fix it. :D

My first ever manga bases will be Furuba (or Fruits Basket). They're directly from my own collection, so please make sure to at least NOT TAKE credit for scanning them. I highly doubt that most of these have been turned into downloadable bases, so please enjoy them. Click on the image to get to the post.

Or you can click here to download them. If you use anything, you're obligated to credit but required to comment (at least). No hotlinking or Haru will get on his bad side.

UPDATE: I forgot to mention that this set includes the following characters: Momiji (x3), Tohru (x11), Kyou (x8), Yuki (x1), Uo-chan (x2), Haru (x5), and more than one person (x6). There are 36 bases in all.

EDIT: I've replaced the .rar file with a .zip file. I forgot to do that originally, so I'm very sorry for those of you who can't open the file you downloaded.
