This post contains 140 icons from the first episode of the new Hellsing OVA series. There are spoilers, but if you've read the manga or seen the tv series, there's nothing too shocking and no really new content. Enjoy!

'Sup guys.
I've been thinking about subjects for making icons of again. What kinds of things have you always wanted icons of but had a hard time finding? I'm not talking big huge uber fandoms that have (more than one of) their own icon communities, but things that are a little more "rare," like, I don't know, Gilligan's Island, or something. Not that I'm ever going to make Gilligan's Island icons.
... I make no promises, of course, but I think the reason I'm usually reluctant to icon things that have been suggested when I've asked in the past is that either I've never seen/read them, or else umpty-jillion other people have already make much nicer icons of the same subject. :)

Some of these may be a little spoilery for Dead Man's Chest, but not in a very significant way. Many of the caps and images I used are from http://jack-davenport.net/. A few icons are old, but reworked, or I haven't posted them before. Enjoy!

These icons are from the awesome and hilarious webcomic Thinkin' Lincoln, which I was recently introduced to by
ladymargaret. In light of that, you don't need to credit me for the icons (although it's appreciated), but you MUST MUST MUST credit http://www.thinkin-lincoln.com/ because if I catch you not crediting the comic, I WILL COME AND BITE OFF YOUR NOSE. THROUGH THE INTERNET.
I never seem to make icons of what I say I will, although I do have a set of Master & Commander icons I am working on.

Hallo! I haven't been posting icons because I feel like most of the icons I've been making for myself aren't really up to the quality I'd want for icons I post publicly, and I usually don't make enough to put into a post, anyway. But it's summer, I still haven't got a job, and consequently I have lots of free time for making icons.
What would you like to see icons of here? I'm pretty well back into Star Wars right now, but I don't know if I feel like making many more icons from it, and of course it's not exactly in vogue right now. So I'm thinking something else. Do any of you have suggestions? No dam' video games, please. :)
Also, I'd like to do some themed stock photography sets, but I'm not sure what theme.
And would anyone be interested in a "the first fifteen people to comment to this post get two random interest icons!" sort of meme? I'm not sure even how active most of the people watching this journal are anymore.

I have no idea how many of you have seen this show (I'm guessing, like, two), but I've been getting the series DVDs from Netflix and wanted to make some icons. Don't worry, the Good Night, And Good Luck. icons will happen eventually ... it's just that I've been having trouble picking which shots I want to icon, which ones work, what style to use, that kind of thing. :)

-I like suggestions for things to icon, because I am lazy and uncreative!
-Go rent this show! If you like hilarious/bad/awesome 80s action anime, you won't be disappointed.

This post contains one hundred twenty matching icons from the film Howl's Moving Castle. I really wanted to make an icon of the toilet "blooming" out of the floor when they move the Castle, but it just wasn't effective without motion and sound. :(

-Credit either

-Hotlinking makes me sad, so please don't do it. :(

So, I saw
ladymargaret's super-sexy post of Montana icons, and I figured that I don't express enough of my love for Colorado. I mean, I love my state! It's rectangular! How many other states can say that? I'll tell you! Just one! Wyoming. Do you know what Wyoming's current tourism campaign is? It's essentially 'Wyoming: there's nothing here!' Bah.
Also, we have lots of nice aspen trees, and prairie dogs, and old mining towns, and mountains, and asshole skier and bikers, and nice bikers and skiers, and, you know, stuff. I &hearts my home state.
I'm going to the place in #4 and #34 over Labour Day weekend to party it up, watch movies, and work. Jealous? Yeahhhhhhh.

-read The Monkey Wrench Gang and any other Edward Abbey you can get your hot little hands on even though he writes more about other western and southwestern states more than he writes about Colorado
-come visit me in Colorado so you too can see all of this attractive scenery, along with ugly resort towns and tract housing!

13 icons from my new favourite comic, Cat and Girl. They're a lot funnier if you've read the comic. I might do more if anyone actually finds them fun, but meh.
No credit necessary, since all I did was crop, resize, and border. Might be nice if you credited the comic, though.

And frankly, the comment part is just as important as the credit. I'm beginning to get tired of seeing my icons used by people I don't know who've never even bothered to let me know they like my work. It's a bit rude. :)
