I got assaulted =) (no, seriously, i was assaulted)
Hey kids, gather round. Ben has a story for you tonite. Following my shift at WXYC (12-3 Sunday Nights/Monday Mornings) and it was a damn good set if i might say so. I was heading back towards Morrison and i was at the point in the brick walkway where it meets with Stadium Drive. Two very sketch thugged out African American males approached me and asked for directions to 15-501. As I was giving directions and trying to keep my distance, one of them walked around to the other side of me and in the middle of directions took a swing at me and hit me on my left cheek, it's bruised now. I started backing away fast yelling "What the fuck!? What the fuck!? Easy!" and they started to give chase. At which point, I was running across the road where i tripped on my sandal and scraped the everliving fuck out of my knees. I pulled off both sandals and sprinted back to Morisson as fast as i could. When i got there and inside the dorm, I called the cops and alerted them and let them know everything that happened. They've sent cars out as of 3:30 or so and i gave descriptions of the guys. So you know, they were two thugged out black guys, anywhere from 5'8 to 6'2. The shorter one was wearing a black puffy coat and was heavier set, maybe up to 210 lbs for his body type. The other was a little skinnier had a black ballcap on and an oversized black t-shirt. Be on the lookout, because i don't want this happening to anyone else. I'm okay but the bottom line is i got lucky. So be careful out there and take care of yourselves.
