LOST BUTTON - REWARD
Hey everyone.

This afternoon around 3PM I lost a button from my coat on my way to class. I know it was on the coat when I left from the North Campus co-op, but when I arrived at my class in Dennison the button was missing. Normally this would not be a huge deal, but the coat is a vintage soviet military great-coat, and the buttons are unique and would be difficult to find replacements for.

The button lost is circular, rounded a little on the front so it is not flat, and gold/brass in color. There is a relief of a star with a hammer and sickle Communist insignia inside the star. The back side of the button is black with a single loop for attaching it to a coat. The diameter of the button is about 1/2 inch or so.

Because it will be really hard for me to find the right button to replace this one, I am offering a $20 reward to the person who returns it to me.

Possible areas of search (which I have already looked over but please keep an eye out if you are in these areas anyway) are first and second floor Dennison (including room 260, the lecture hall), the stairwell in Dennison by the elevators, sidewalks between Dennison and C.C. Little, buses of the oldest type (sadly I do not remember the bus number of the bus I rode to class, but it was an old bus and the driver was a young chubby guy), and the areas around the Baits II bus stops.

I really, really need this button back. If you have any information or you have found it, please leave a comment.

Oh hey those do look pretty much like the buttons on my coat (except the backs are different).

Thanks, I do have an ebay account, so I will probably bid on those for the sake of having extras around even if someone does return my other button.

Not your button, but an idea of how buttons can stay lost for a long time. Oh, and I think I found a picture:
