AboutThis is a community for LJ users attending post-secondary academic institutions in Manitoba. Visitors are welcome to post comments as well.
So far, some of the more popular uses of this community include:
1. asking for help and advice on courses, professors, academic policies, etc.
2. a not-so-formal housing listing (for information about U of M residence and general Winnipeg off-campus housing, visit http://www.umanitoba.ca/student/housing/)
3. listings for things for sale, particularly textbooks and/or notes
4. sharing your new class schedule to seek support and potential classmates through this community
5. answering questions for out-of-province students who are planning or will be attending post-secondary education in Manitoba.
The list goes on! Ads for housing listings, personal items for sale, student group events and on-campus activities are permitted. No commercial ads please.
