Do you have a link to the details of this increase? I can't find anything in the budget announcements about motorcycle tax increases...

It seems to me that someone somewhere has read something on t'interweb saying that 125cc tax is doubling and has raised the petition accordingly. However they've completely failed to mention their source and the sheep around the interwebs are signing the petition without checking on the facts.

I'm not saying the petition is wrong nor that the facts are inaccurate. I just can't find anything from an authoritative source that backs up this claim.

Frustratingly that link doesn't cite the source either. I can't find anything in the budget that supports the claims...

There isn't anything in the budget that supports the claims. I have a couple of tax lawyers on my f-list, and none of them replied to this.
