iconrants with your rants about ugly icons, post them here! All posts are friends-locked, without exception, so you must join to see anything.
What you may do:
+ make posts showing ugly icons and pointing out what's wrong with them.
+ make posts linking to publically-posted ugly tutorials and pointing out what's wrong with them.
What you may not do:
+ promote/pimp your own or other's icons or communities.
+ find an iconist's posts or journals and mock them there. That's the point of this comm, people-- to keep the bitching corralled behind closed doors, not take the wank to the iconists. If I find out you're doing this, your ass is banned permanently. And I'm tracking IPs, too. So there.
+ edit/delete your posts or comments, or the comments of others, without permission from a mod if the discussion's not going your way. Buck up and own your mistakes.
What you must do:
+ include a NON-HOTLINKED image of the icon you're mocking. This means you have to upload it to your own server space. Bad enough we're making fun of their icons, we don't have to steal their bandwidth as well.
+ put lengthy rants behind a cut. Click here if you don't know how to lj-cut.
+ rant about the ICON and its flaws, not the MAKER.
