The United Bondage Fakers is a consolidation of the Yahoo/Smartgroups Communities "International House of Bondage Fakes" and "Bogus Bondage Fakeoff." The UBF serves as a forum for digital fakers and enthusiasts who want to post their works, talk "how-to" get feedback, and generally hang out.

The UBF is also the new home of the annual celebrity bondagette March Madness Tournament and the Buffy Awards. Both contests are voted on by community members.

This community is maintained by dkenjonze and assisted by themanipulator We are looking for one more assistant maintainer.

THE RULES

Pictures

1.All photomanipulations must be of female celebrities who are at least 18 years of age. No exceptions. Violation of this rule is THE ONE THING YOU CAN BE INSTANTLY BANNED FOR.

2.All photomanipulations must either be behind an LJ cut, or be linked offsite to your own web space. Some people look at this community at work, and there is no such thing as a work-safe bondage fake. If it is not behind a cut, or link, the post will be deleted.

3.No pictures of your girlfriend, sister, wife, mom, gym teacher, or the crazy neighbor lady. Keep it strictly to those in the public eye. If it happens once your post will be deleted. If it happens again, you will be banned.

Posting

1.Treat others as you wish to be treated. Don't flame, and don't troll. Trolling and flaming posts will be deleted. On the other hand, civilized, if heated, argument and discourse are perfectly acceptable.

2.Try to keep subject matter pertinent to the purpose of this community. Leave political debate, etc. out of here, unless it is somehow relates to the hobby showcased herein.

3.You are encouraged to promote your bondage faking websites, galleries, groups, communities, etc. Promotion of bondage, bdsm, and fetish communities and websites are okay, too. If you want to promote something that does not fall within the above guidelines, email dkenjonze for permission. If you don't get permission, your post will be deleted.

4.If you post a fake asking for constructive criticism, accept the good and the negative. We're here to help each other get better, not just massage egos.

5.If you give criticism, make it constructive. Don't just say "I think your fake looks like poop." Say something like "This fake isn't very good. It could be better if…" It is okay to be brutally honest, but not to be gratuitously mean.

6.Questions and discussion of group policies are acceptable to post. Administrators reserve the right, however, to request that any discourse on community rules be discussed via email or IM.

Most importantly, we're all here to have fun futzing around with pictures, so let's make this a place where we can all take a load off and have a good time!
