AboutWelcome to Torchwood Story Finder.
Our goal here is simple. Match the person up to the story they're looking for for without cluttering up the other Torchwood communities. Post what you remember of the fic you're looking for and other members will hopefully be able to recognise it and post a link.
Do you remember everything about this story except the title? Are you writing something and have a strange case of deja vu? Lost all your bookmarks and can't find that one comfort fic that would make you feel better? This is the place for you.
Post as much as you can remember about the story you're looking for and hopefully someone will be able to help you out. You can ask for stories of any rating, but not for anything other then fic (no vids, no uploads, no announcments for your website, new fic, or request for recs). If your entry isn't about you looking for a fic, it's going to be deleted.

twgenrefinders, that is for genre requests. An example of that would be "I'm looking for any fic that involves Jack/Janet". Fics requests that are a genre request will be deleted on this community with a note left asking them to be posted on twgenrefinders
Please wait two (2) weeks between requests for help in finding the same fic.
On requests for 'character-bashing' specific stories, please be courteous both to the characters of Torchwood, and to the diverse feelings and loyalties of your fellow comm members. If we think any post request has gone beyond describing the request and into being offensive, we'll delete it immediately. We believe it should be possible to ask for both specific stories or genre types of fic without getting up anyone's nose in the process.
Play nicely with each other, and remember to thank people who go to the effort of finding links for you.
