I know, I know ... The Holidays Ate Our Lives. (Or exams for some of you ... I'm grading!)

I'll be accepting submissions up through Dec. 28, midnight, US Central. Then, depending on the number, I'll try to get the turnover for voting done quickly. The current banner will be up through January 5th. I'd like to have a new one ready to go by then, so voting will run from December 29th through January 4th.

Okay, so RL just ate my livejournal time, that's okay, but my Cedric/Harry fix is running low and I've missed this place so bad :( So, whilst I try some fic-writing in between jobs, I shall for now hand out some prompts :D

1. Non-Magical AU. Cedric Diggory is a new recruit in London's Metropolitan Police Academy and things look promising; successfully working his way through the ranks, has a family-accepted girlfriend, and proud parents. His life is set for steady, acceptable perfection. But then he meets the more liberal-thinking cadet, Harry Potter, and finds himself intrigued in more than just Harry's thirst to help those most in need...Slash.

2. Be it an accident in the Department of Mysteries or a natural magical occurrence, in the year 2000 Cedric Diggory finds himself, 17 and all, alive once more. He has to learn to navigate his way through this new 'Post-Voldemort' world, and the one person he finds himself safest and happiest with is with the now 20 yr old, Auror graduate Harry James Potter. Harry (along with Hermione and Ron) have been pivotal in bringing rights to those who before were denied such things. One being the right of a wizard to love another wizard (bonus points for mention of Harry's status as Teddy's Godfather, I love paternal Harry) ... Slash.

3. Cedric lived AU. Cedric, even though Harry and he had survived the attack in the graveyard, has watched the younger boy from afar. Now, with news of Dumbledore's death reaching the rest of the Wizarding World, Cedric is determined to get in contact with the boy, no, young man once more and help in any way. Slash.

Uhm... I don't know if you anyone remembers me/my Harry/Cedric comic...but its been a LONG time, ne? If anyone does remember...I'm sorry for being absent for so long! Life has been an impossible. (Other than that there's really no excuse! lol.) D: But I really hope to post some more of the comic here soon! (>w< I'm also working on another mini-doujinshi at the same time so I'll try hard to update! There's no guarantee that I can do it extremely often though.But I will try! :O)

Hi,

I'm a longtime fan of this pairing, but in most of the fics I've read, Cedric is very deep in the closet and is gradually brought out of his self-loathing through his relationship with Harry. Can anyone recommend some stories where Cedric is already out and comfortable being gay/bisexual before the story starts? Thanks.

They just opened for prompting. The idea is to submit links to your finished fics or art (up to 5 stories or up to 10 pictures) and make them available as prompts. Someone may decide to create art based on your story, or a story based on your art. And, of course, you can choose a story or a piece of art that you'd like to work with. Especially if it deals with Harry or Cedric and you're planning to cross-post it here. ;)
