Twinspiration's 2nd Annual Fic&Art Fest

Greetings, everyone, and welcome to April and to our second annual fic&art fest here at Twinspiration. Considering the amount of fests going on at the moment and the general doldrums that great acres of Potter fandom are still experiencing, we've elected to go a rather low-key and hopefully low-stress route for our festival this year.

Below, you'll find five tables of ten words. These are your prompts. Use as many or as little as you like, in whatever combination(s) you like. Wanna take one entire table and use all the prompts therein for your submission? Go for it! Prefer to take the #1 prompt from each of the five tables? Sure! Captivated by just one word? That's fine, too. Hell, if you decide to base your submission around purely all the prompts that are five letters long or that start with your lucky letter - it's all good. :) Pick one word, five, ten, all fifty if you want - It's completely up to you.

In keeping with the low-keyness and low-stressness, we're especially hoping this year for a quality selection of short works. For example -

drabbles
icons
ficlets
cartoons
haiku
"LOLcat" macros ("LOLtwin"? *grin*)

But of course longer stories and more involved artworks would be completely loved and fawned over as well. Anything and everything that your minds and fingers can come up with that involve Fred&George and/or James&Oliver - your fellow twinfans want to see it and share the beauty with you!

So, let's all gear up, let's get our brains and our pens and pencils ready, let's run our discerning eye over the various prompt-words and let's have a carefree month of sharing and enjoying our twin-love.

Just one rule, please, when posting remember that NC-17 rated works should be Friends-locked to the comm and any images that seem a bit huge should go behind an LJ-cut in consideration of everybody's flists. Thanks, guys. *group hug*

My personal apologies for this post being a day late, everyone. My home was without power for most of today due to storms and I felt like I was living the life of a Bronte sister, being cut off from the 21st century as I was. :) Least I got some reading done...

Wow, such a gorgeous assortment of images. How fine those fingers would look glistening with... well, the mind wanders.

Did I miss when the twinny goodness is due? Or do we post whenever it's done no matter when, even if it's three months from now?

Heh, see - I'm so laid back, I'm practically comatose. ;) Twinny goddnesses pertaining to these prompts can be posted throughout April. I'll just toddle off and edit that into the post now. *blush* Thanks for reminding me, m'dear...
