I was just wondering if anyone had any idea when the next volume would come out or has it come out already? It would be a shame if Media Blasters stopped publishing it ('cause then I wouldn't be able to read about all the robots!)

Finally got the whole thing read at work today -- yeah, slow day. ^^;;;
And????
Ok, let me preface this by saying I have not cracked my copies of the original raw manga recently. So by and large this was like reading it for the first time, plus, you know, understanding the language and all. ^^;;;
I? Liked it. I've always been charmed by the multi-species Otoi household. Plus, this is the beginning, when they thought it was a little kids' manga? Hence the wacky, very Japanese wacky, what are you smoking Wacky McWackypants-ness. I still love it that Signal is so freaked out by the Egami folks! The butler! Signal's brain! ::dies::
And they spelled Elara 'Elara'. Thank you.
Already I can't wait for the rest of them, and jeez I hope they aren't all so late!!!!
If I wasn't doing NaNo, I'd be drawing ethereal Pulse/Signal pr0n already. ^_~ |

So my TS manga showed up a couple of days ago, just haven't had a chance to post about it.
I know it's two volumes converted into one, (the artist said as much in the endnotes), but this has to be the shortest, squatest looknig manga I've ever seen.
And inside? Pure unadulterated crack. And I thought the OAV was bad. Doesn't begin to cover it.
For the curious, I had ordered it from RightStuf. I'll have to review the order to see when I actually placed it compared to when it arrived. But it does exist, and it is slowly coming out. Joy. |

{waves hi to those I don't know yet} I've actually been on here for awhile but haven't been paying attention to the posts, so there's a few late replies from me popping up tonight. ^^;;
While chattering with LN and Kalloway tonight, I got the idea to putter through the Wayback Machine for the old Twin Signal sites that are no longer up on the web... and lo and behold, there they were! ^__^ I'm going to be downloading them bit by bit and then recreating them to post on my web (with their original creator's credit, of course), but in the meantime, if anybody wants to do some puttering through old sites, here are the links to plug into the Wayback Machine ( http://www.archive.org ):

Hi guys!!!
I picked up the Twin Signal OAV in High school and absolutely fell in love with Chibi. I've since scoured the internet for everything I could get my hands on. I even have the entire Japanese tankoubon collection---which I sadly cannot read but was happy to have gotten at the time. Let me know if anyone is interested in buying this from me! ^_~
Also, I bring fanart! I've been doing these for quite a while and I'm glad to have more people to share these with.

Hi fellow TS fans!
Kirti McKeehan here to offer her humble services. (Yeah... actually I'm just bored. 7-7) I have at my disposal nearly the entire TS series and an extensive Japanese-English dictionary, plus 5 years of Japanese classes. *brandishing "credentials" o.O* For the past year in a half, translating Twin Signal manga has been my hobby and a source of great joy.
(I mean, there are soooo many ways you can interpret Oratorio's "Soussuka"'s to make them seem like lewd comments. *devilish grin*)
If anyone is too impatient to wait for the English release of a certain story arc to come out, I am offering to translate them for you. Why? For fun. If I'm not sure of a translation I have three sources to check it at: an online Japanese student forum, my Japanese teacher, and our Japanese exchange student. So you'll be guaranteed a close-to-perfect translation!
There are a few volumes I'm missing because what I own is a mesh of bunko and tankouben, which divide the story up differently. Sadly, I don't have Pulse or Elara's introductions or the IF miniseries. Everything else I can do probably do, though. (I know where you can find the translations for those stories online, too.) I will also translate fanfiction and am willing to try my hand at doujinshi, though that may take a little more time.
So please make any requests you have! Honestly, I'm dying of boredom, and have no new manga to burn my brain over right now. Thanks for reading! ^0^ |

Lessee. tallihensia introduced me to Twin Signal years ago, before the first Yaoi-con. So she wrote an entry in the Shounen Hump doujinshi anthology that first Y-con year, and I drew it in an enormous hurry.
Picture read the manga, completely charmed by the entire household in all its strange and wonderful parts. Partial to Pulse because of the whole nearsightedness thing. Yep. (And those arm blades are just too cool!!!!!)
Snagged the OAV long ago, still watch it now and then, counting syllables...

*gets first non-test post, aha* ...That's likely the last time you'll ever see me get to anything early, let alone on time. ^^;
So, good to be here! I've been a fan for several years now; don't remember how I found Twin Signal, but I've never completely gotten out of the fandom. I've a couple of fics up, one of which is junk, but this one isn't too bad: Grey Leukyon. I think I've got part of a rewrite somewhere; it's about due one, anyway. It's got male/male slash, and warrants a G rating, I think.
Meanwhile, I'm a roleplayer. I've RPed Signal, and have a couple of originals I'd love to get going again. Anyone else here RP?
