New, Improved, and Past twilight_crafts Community Guidelines (Because who doesn't like a reminder?)



*All posts are moderated and will appear in the community after being approved by a mod. (I swear, it doesn't take us too long to get to it!)

*We don't require it, but we suggest that you keep your posts members only. We do not ask this of you in order to stunt your creative growth, I promise. BUT, there are some LJ communities whose members copy and post pictures from other communities, twilight_crafts included, in order to criticize them. If your post is locked, only members can see it and we will hopefully avoid the dreaded drama llama.



*Members that post pictures from this group to other communities (see above) will be banned without warning. Honestly, we're a pretty quite corner of the fandom and we prefer to stay that way. You don't bother us, and we won't bother you. We are not in the business of snarking and making fun of crafts - we care about our members and we're all passionate about our crafts, whatever they may be. Please respect that, and the other members. Plus, don't forget, "we all have scissors, Exactos, and other variety of sharp instruments." ~ ofenjen

About twilight_crafts
twilight_crafts is a small and cozy little corner of the Twilight Saga Fandom ; it is a place for crafters and Twilight enthusiasts to share their crafty creation and/or ideas inspired by Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series. We accept any and every form of crafts - crocheting, knitting, painting, cutting, gluing, jewelry-making, stenciling, etc. Whatever your craft is, we encourage you to share it with us, as long as it is related to the world that Mrs. Meyer has created for us, of course! We ask that you only post photos of your own crafts. If you find a link with some Twilight crafts that you would like to share, we certainly do not discourage link-sharing by any means! But, any and all photos should be posted behind an LJ-Cut - a thumbnail or two would be okay , but anything larger should be placed behind the LJ-Cut. Also, at twilight_crafts we are not against the selling of handmade goods. Personally, I prefer something homemade over cheaply-made, mass-produced and over-priced pieces of merchandise But we also want to make sure that the community isn't overrun by sales posts. On the 1st of each month, we will create a post for all of you that are interested to post ads and links to your shops containing all sorts of Twilight goodness. We are a kid-friendly community. All crafts must be rated PG-13 or less. We, the mods, reserve the right to delete any inappropriate posts.
Want to Join?
Membership is moderated. If you request to join twilight_crafts and have a new or unused LJ account (no posts, no friends, etc.), you will need to contact a moderator (either ofenjen, hardhadcat, hp5freak, stringofviolets or torn_portfolio) and we will approve your membership. Giving us a few sentences about your intentions for joining the community, your crafty background if you have one, and also, so we know that you read the rules and guidelines, the quote "Mind over Matter" must be included in your contact message. Our memberships are moderated in order to help keep voting in our Craft Challenges fair.
