This community has been modelled on the![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif)
ds_flashfiction and sga_flashfic communities and will follow roughly the same rules.
Challenges will be posted once every two weeks; you have two weeks to respond to the challenge.
The story must be posted only to thetw_flashfic community for the duration of the challenge. You are more than welcome to post an announcement and link to your story from your own journal, but we ask that you do not post your story itself outside the community until after the challenge has ended.
The challenge will be formally closed by the ADMIN at the end of the challenge period; you can keep posting until you see that formal closing message, even if the message is late. After that message, no more stories for that challenge will be accepted, and you are free to crosspost your story to your own LJ, webpage, archive, or anywhere else. A new challenge will be posted shortly thereafter.
Please suggest challenges! Challenge suggestions should be posted in the comments section of previous challenges.
For your Archivist's convenience, please include "by [Your author name]" in the subject line of your post. Stories will be archived in the memories section by challenge name. Please use a cut tag; pairings, warnings, and other information is appreciated but not required. Caveat lector.
Spoiler Policy: If your story contains spoilers for any episode from any season, a spoiler warning should be included and visible outside of the story cut tag.
Please contribute Torchwood stories of any word length. (Shorter fiction of between 100 and 1000 words is particularly encouraged.)
Regardless of the length of your story, please only post it in a single part -- the livejournal limit on post size is very large and should not be a problem for the flashfic; if your story exceeds that size or needs special formatting, please feel free to post it as a separate webpage and post a link to the webpage instead.
All ratings, pairings, slash, gen, het, you name it, are welcome here, as long as the story satisfies the conditions of the challenge.
