This is a community for Torchwood AU fanfiction. Membership and posting are open, but there are several rules first.

RULES

1 AU means AU. If you want to post your fic here, make sure that it is sufficiently different from canon. Please don't make a small, unimportant change to a character's backstory and then try to post it here. Your fic does not have to be a total AU, but does have to be noticibly AU. If you are unsure of whether your fic qualifies, let me know and I will tell you.

2 Please keep ship wars/character hate out of this community. Everyone has a different favourite character or pairing and this community is open to all. Please keep character-bashing fics out of this community. If you don't like a particular character, then don't put them in your fic. This is especially easy to do with AU fics. If this rule cannot be followed, then I will be forced to moderate membership and posting, which I really don't want to do.

3 Any off-topic posts(such as community pimpage, episode squee, and random media) must be cleared first. Any OT post w/o clearance will be deleted. Icons are allowed only if they are AU related.

4 Clearly label all fics with the following information:

Title
Pairing(If any)
Rating(MPAA system preferred)
Word Count(optional, but preferred)
Warnings/Spoilers
Disclaimer
Short Summary

If it is part of a series, please link to previous installments if possible. Please LJ-cut. If you are unsure of how, ask before posting.

5 Please tag your entries with the following tags:

'Fic' for fics
'author:your name'
'series: series name' if part of a series
'title of fic'
'drabble' in addition to 'fic' tag if a drabble

The tags will probably change later. Please check the tag rules before posting. Do not make me change your tags.

6 Betas are important. They edit and tweak and improve your fics. They can be found in a large number of places. They cannot however be found here. Do not ask for a beta. Bad things will happen if you do.

7 Some people are very spoiler-phobic. Please warn for any spoilers out of respect for those who don't want to see them.
