What is a Rating/Stamping Community?

A rating/stamping community is a place where you get to find out which character from a certain series (in this case, Princess Tutu) you are most like in terms of personality (and sometimes, looks). Members of the community read your app and vote according to who they think you resemble. After you garner a certain amount of votes, the moderator will 'stamp' your application with the character you received the most votes on. You then display this stamp on your profile or stamps post for everyone to see. ;)

What is Princess Tutu?

1. You must join the community in order to post and vote.

2. Answer the questions in the survey with at least enough details so that other people will have an easier time getting to know your personality. :) Feel free to friends-lock your app if you wish.

3. No flaming, please. ^_^

4. You have to vote on at least 3 applications (regular or theme apps -- it doesn't matter, both count ;) ) before the moderator can stamp you. Note: You can post your application without voting first. Just edit your app post with links to the posts you voted on as you go on. Or else, they won't get credited. ;) As of 6/19/08, until further notice, we are requiring you to have your 3 links ready when posting your app. This is because we've had several instances of people applying but never getting their votes up before we have to delete them. :(
Note: If there happen to be less than 3 available apps to vote on, go for all the ones available (check the Applications that Need Votes tags to be sure you're not overlooking any, including community-locked apps) and tell us so in the app. We still want you to have 3 votes eventually for fairness, so we'd like to see all 3 before you get stamped, but you can't vote on apps that aren't there, right?

5. Once an app is deemed to have enough votes by the mods, if the mods can't stamp it right away it will be tagged appropriately and also given a 'no more votes' comment, and from then on votes on that app are not counted for either that app's stamp or as vote links for the voters.

6. You can vote a person up to as much as two characters (i.e. up to 2 votes per app) only, unless otherwise specified as for theme apps.

7. Put your character vote in bold.

8. Please explain why you voted a person as a certain character. One short sentence is fine. :) If you forget to put one, please either edit the comment or post a reply to add it, since we will not count the vote for the app or for vote links until it is fixed.

9. You must put the word 'dance' somewhere in your subject line to show that you've read the rules.

10. You will get stamped after you get at least 5 votes of the same character, unless otherwise specified for theme apps. If this takes too long we'll stamp it anyway with whatever votes are there at the applicant's request.

11. If you post a reply comment to a vote or a non-vote comment to an app, if the conversation extends screen the old/read comments so it won't crowd up the app. Thus ideally have just the most recent comment visible. :)

12. Once you get stamped, please upload your stamp onto your own server and put it on your Profile or Stamps Post with a link back to here.
