firstly 2 announcements:
1. I will be away from today until Friday. you can carry on sending me fics, but don't panic when they're not posted immediately. All fics recievedn this week will be posted on Friday/Saturday when I return.
2. I'm putting back the deadline by 10 days. So instead of ending on Sunday 7th September, it will instead end on Wednesday 17th.

Author’s Notes: Another shift in POV (back to Tuti this time) and another dose of Egyptology to go with it. For the record, the description of the cult statue is entirely educated guess-work seeing as no cult statues have ever survived in the archaeological record. Seeing as they would have been made from the most precious materials available, that's not exactly surprising ^_^;

Author’s Notes: Beware the alternating POVs! It switches back and forth between Tuti and Daiki in this chapter, although hopefully that should be reasonably obvious ^^; Also, because next Monday is a bank holiday here in the UK, chapter seven will be posted on the Tuesday.
