Notes: What in the name of hell possessed me to write fanfic about Tyler Smallwood?
For decidedly, whose impressions of Sheriff Mooseburger sowed the seeds, and for morteamore, whose art of Damon as a beat cop reminded me of the idea, and inspired me to actually write something.

I've got Vampire-Diaries.net up and running. Its purpose is to be a kind of hub for the Vampire-Diaries fandom, where myself and a couple of other people will be posting news - about the books and the TV series - as and when it comes in. If you just want to keep your eye on the news, there's a twitter feed and you can also follow it via the LiveJournal syndication feed.
The site currently contains some basic book info, and that will be updated to include more in-depth information about the books and characters at some point in the near future. There are some sections that are complete and running, including a couple of fanlistings, Fell's Church Library (fanfic) and Fell's Church Gallery (art) - if you have fic or art, you should sign up and post it. More stuff should be coming soon.
If people want to advertise the site, I'd really appreciate it. I have some banners that people can use here. |

Vampire Diaries Fanfic Archive
This is a brand new archive for Vampire Diaries fanfic. It will eventually be part of a larger fansite, but one step at a time. This is still being tweaked a bit, so please take note of the information posted on the main page.
Unlike Twilight Tales, this is an automated archive where you sign up and post your own fanfic to the site (like fanfiction.net). This means it will be up there immediately, and fanfics don't have to be complete - you can post them chapter by chapter as and when you get parts done.
Usernames are technically first-come, first-served, BUT I ask people to use a bit of consideration and try not to use names that are in use by prolific authors in the fandom as it may cause some real confusion.
I hope to see lots of the TVD fics you guys have all written in the past up on there when I wake up in the morning. ;) |

Technically a fanlisting with a page linking to a bunch of fic and a few pics, but it will be a proper Matt site in the very near future. In the meantime, you can all show your love for Matt by signing up for the fanlist (buttons coming soon). :D
The silhouette is a placeholder for the awesome art that cathyrne is creating (take your time, lovely, no rush). Make of the sticking out thing what you will. *waggles eyebrows suggestively*
I think I've linked to most of the Matt fanworks that are out there, but if I've missed any, please, please link me to it. Same goes for any icons/avatars/wallpapers people are okay with me putting on the site. I'm also on the lookout for photos of possible Matt candidates, so pointing me at those would be very much appreciated as well.
