Welcome to the community!

To say it simply, this is a place meant for writers of the fandom Teen Titans. Ones who are struggling with different ideas, ones who are in the middle of a horrid battle with writer's block, ones who don't have a single clue of what sort of story they want to create, and ones who are just looking for a bit of fun.

Meet the fifteen-minute rule.

The concept is simple. Once a week, you will be given a single word that you must somehow incorporate in. You can delay writing your drabble as long as you want, but once you sit down and start writing, that's it. You keep at it for fifteen minutes...

And when that time is up, you stop. You can go maybe a minute over, but that's ALL. This is not meant to be a long, drawn-out fanfiction, but an exercise that could lead to greater ideas that could one day, develop into memorable stories.

This community is also a place for virtual acceptance of everyone. I understand that there are many different couplings in the Teen Titans fandom that people represent. I myself ship certain pairings, as you will probably come to see. But all are accepted here. Feel free to write whatever you want. Robin-Starfire, Beast Boy-Raven, Robin-Raven, Starfire-Beast Boy, Cyborg-Raven, Cyborg-Starfire... Yaoi/slash (male-male) and yuri/femmeslash (female-female) are accepted as well.

When you finish your drabble, then come and post it in a comment for the entry that included the word you wrote for. You can either post the entire thing in the comment, or you can post it in your own livejournal and then give us a link here. You may write as many drabbles as you want, just as long as they all follow the 15 minute rule. You can even go check the tags, where there is a tag for every word that has been posted, and write a ficlet for one of those! There are no deadlines here, you may still go back and write ficlets for words posted long ago. :)

Rules

There are not many rules, but a few do exist, and they need to be obeyed.

1. Your drabble must be Teen Titans oriented.

2. Your time limit is fifteen minutes. This does not need to be exceeded.

3. This is a place for encouragement, not criticism. If you absolutely MUST say something negative concerning someone else's work, say it in a POLITE, RESPECTFUL WAY. If you fail to do so on more than one occasion, you WILL be banned from the community.

4. This is also a place for acceptance of all pairings. If I catch anyone insulting someone else's beliefs, you will receive a stern warning. If you do it again, you will be banned without hesitation.

New words will be posted on Mondays, so be sure to check back then!

We want this community to be a success, so if anyone is scared or intimidated about posting their work, please don't be! This community is here for a purpose. :)
