Seems Like Everyone is on a diet!

Anna Paquin is gearing up for her return to the spotlight. We caught her in a Slim-Fast chugfest yesterday after picking up a can at her local L.A. grocery store.

The 25-year-old Oscar winner has been shedding the pounds while shooting her new HBO series True Blood, in which she plays an innocent mind-reading barmaid who falls in love with a local Louisiana vampire.

After the jump, take a look at her transformation from a curvy brunette to a blonde girl-next-door with a more willowy shape.

Personally I don't think she's on a diet. People drink SlimFast sometimes for quick meals and that is all. She only looks like she's smaller because her dress isn't form fitting. And to compare it to a pic from a year ago instead of a more recent picture from last month is ridiculous.

Because having an average figure instead of a "willowy" figure doesn't seem "girl-next-door" at all. :P Shapely is sexy! You don't need to be a stick figure to be attractive!

if she is shedding pounds for the role then it's a huge mistake. I'm an extreme sookie stackhouse fan in everyway and in one of the books she is said to be around a size ten if Anna Paquin gets thinner she'll only be half a Sookie

I agree - Sookie is shapely and not small

Hear hear! Sookie is supposed to be shapely, and not eensie weensie, her shapelyness is part of why she's hot. I have also been an avid fan of The Southern Vamp series since the first book came out.
