Community Profile

The focus of this Little Mermaid community is on the seven daughters of Triton. I'd sooner not focus on the events of the Little Mermaid movies, as I prefer Ariel before the Eric incident. This community came about thanks to the Disney Store's new Ariel & Her Sisters line.

Feel free to discuss: Ariel & Her Sisters merchandise, how the sisters interact in the movies, the TV series, the chapter book series, and any appearances of The Six (Adella, Alana, Andrina, Aquata, Arista and Attina) that you can find.

The posting of icons, pictures, toys, stories, etc. is very much encouraged. Give the girls some love!

RULES:

1) Please put any fanfics, larger pics or more than three icons under a cut. For smaller pictures, one is allowed in the main text without a cut, but any more than that need to be placed behind a cut. Information on how to use cuts is here:

2) Please do not just take people's images or icons. If they give permission, that is fine. But if there is no mention of any sort of permission, please ask them before using their pictures.

3) Please do not post only to advertise your own Little Mermaid group or site more than once. If I see constant posts about your own site, I will start deleting them. If all you do is advertise and you don't contribute to this community otherwise, I will begin deleting all your posts. This is not a place for free advertising. This is a community. I don't mind one post with a link to your own site, but any more than that is pushing it. The only exceptions to this rule are links to role-playing games and sites displaying your fan works (fanfic and fan art). Those are not any sort of conflict of interest and may be posted as much as you like. Within reason, of course.

4) On a related note, please do not post asking for people to rate you in any rating communities. Begging for votes is not considered a good contribution to this community.

5) On the topic of language, conduct, etc. we're all members of LiveJournal. Therefore, we're all at least teenagers. A lot of us are older than that. I'm not picky about language at all. Conduct, however, is a different story. I expect you to act your age or older. You can have spirited debates. Gods know I do. But keep the childish behavior to a minimum, 'kay? This does include using blatantly derogatory terms that cannot be taken in any sort of positive manner. This is frowned upon, as it causes hurt feelings. Pretty much just try to be respectful, okay?
