So yeah.. this is yet another project that has been sitting on our list for just over a year. It feels so good to finally get these projects finished up and out to the public. It's kinda funny.. see.. I started working on this project two years ago.. and back then.. I totally sucked buttchunks when it came to editing. So when Rido said she would typeset the project.. I went to make sure it was fully edited and ready. I've never been so embarassed in my life! Horrendous! I couldn't believe some of the horrible editing mistakes that I had made. I just wanted to DIE inside. I'm actually really glad we didn't release it back then.. I would have been mortified!

But enough about that. Let's get this bad boy off to you guys!

It was released today in Japan, and my local store should have it in stock by Thursday, Friday at the latest. I'm more than happy to pick up a copy and ship it to anyone who gives me the info. We have two releases for you.. the first is a Kuroshitsuji release..
( So much pleasure, it hurts! )

First, let me again direct anyone that hasn't already visited, to the info poll we're doing on screen sizes. (Tell us your size.. your screen size that is!) Next.. I wanted to talk to you all about some other ideas that have been played across the table. First.. we want your opinion on something that would hopefully bring more doujinshi to everyone.

Right now, UTM (The Unholy Trinity Mafia) has a very high standard for our releases. Full SFX cleaning and redraws isn't an easy task.. and in some cases, it can take us upwards of months to get something completed.. that being said.. I don't want to change UTM's standards.. but I was thinking about making a sub-group.. like.. ITM (In-Training Mafioso) which would be a group that editors who aren't as accomplished or don't quite have the experience on full redraws, can help us with getting more doujinshi out there. These doujinshi would be ones that 2 or more veteran editors in UTM have decided aren't quite suitable for UTM.. because they won't get done within 30 days.. it would take longer. Some of these doujinshi would include Xxxholic's "I wanna be your slave" and Persona3's Greenish Night's series. Both of which have absurd amounts of SFX, to the point that it took almost 2weeks, to edit just 3 pages. We practically had to redraw the entire page.. which then makes it as if the original artists work isnt even there anymore... and that's not what we're trying to promote.

Anyways, we'd like to hear your thoughts.. so far, everyone that's talk to me about it in the group, thinks it's an awesome idea.. and it would open the doors up to new editors that are still new to editing.

The other thing that UTM desperately needs, are people who are good at typesetting. We have probably 10+ projects right now, that have full translations that have been proofed, as well as the whole doujinshi has been cleaned.. but there's no one to typeset it. How bad would it suck if we never got it released, all because of something that silly? So if you or anyone you know.. thinks you've got some skillz to share in the area of typesetting.. (choosing SFX fonts and placing them on the page, similiar to the way the artist originally did it, as well as typesetting the bubble words.. though, in some cases, the bubbles have been typeset.. and it's only the SFX that need help.) then please send me an email! (leha[at]otakara-island.com) Right now, we have 2 or 3 KHR and like 5 Kuroshitsuji doujinshi that need to be typeset.

Lastly, does anyone ever put wallpapers on their phones? *scratches head* I wonder if I'm the only person.. LOL! Just another random question, from us hyperactive folks at the UTM headquarters.. LOL!

SO I'M SURE BY NOW THAT MOST OF YOU HAVE FIGURED OUT THAT THIS POSTING WAS REGARDING THE WALLPAPER PROJECT THAT WE RELEASED FOR CHINESE NEW YEARS. I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE THAT PARTICIPATED! WITHOUT EVERYONE'S INPUT, WE WOULD'VE BEEN STUMPED AS TO WHAT SIZE WE SHOULD'VE RELEASED THE WALLPAPERS IN.

So a few of us were sitting around talking about screen sizes.. and some of us have widescreen.. others are small.. some are big.. and it dawned on me.. man.. I totally should ask our prospective users just what size they have.. because well.. for an up and coming project.. we need to know!

So I'm reaching out to our faithful fans.. please, tell me your size.. (boy.. that sure sounds personal.. lol!)    the more people that tell us, the better.. if you're too shy to post.. then feel free to PM me! We need as much input as possible.. even if we get like 100 people all telling us the same size.. WE NEED TO KNOW THAT!

In case some of you didn't know, our first anniversary is right around the corner. Hard to believe, it's only been a year. To think that we've already experienced this many ups and downs.. wow.

With that being said.. our next release will be on our anniversary. Everyone is working their fingers to the bone, hoping to get all the loose ends finished by November 11. There's the first part of our Haruka Minami Digimon doujinshi, an original all color from CJ Michalski, Kuroshitsuji and quite a few other fandoms.

We're doing our best, with our limited staff, to make this anniversary memorable for everyone. We'd like to include any well wishes and artworks from those of you who support us; the fans who enjoy our downloads. ^_^ So I would like to invite anyone and everyone to make inserts that we'll include with the releases.

Please look forward to November 11! We're so excited to be able to bring you some delicious releases then!
