Hey folks, I hope this post is appropriate for this community. I've never spent any length of time reading slash but perhaps you folks, who do, could help me out here.
I live in Vancouver, BC and I am involved in a queer sci-fi themed party called Q Factor in early August. I will be attending this party dressed as Captain Jean-Luc Picard, shiny head and all.

I thought up the idea of perhaps having an erotic reading contest at our party. We would provide a story that can be read out loud in, say, 5 minutes (this is a dance party and we don't want people to tune out by having the music off for too long!). And we'd bring up volunteers from the dance floor to read pieces of the story and make it sound as hot as possible.
So length is one thing - a story that is sufficiently short, or a short enough excerpt that works in its own right. And the excerpt should be pretty dirty from the very first line or two, because we want every reader to have a chance to say something salacious. The winner, by audience cheers, gets a prize.
Can anyone suggest a particular story they think would fit this concept? You could link to it and perhaps suggest what part of it you would excerpt.

So I think the Star Trek XI anonymous kink meme (![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) st_xi_kink) is totally nifty and all, but I'm more of a TNG gal myself, and I'd like to see something of that nature but for all versions of Trek. On the discussion post there, most of the people seemed to think there wouldn't be enough interest in a pan-Trek kink meme, that the whole reason it works for ST XI is the new and shiny... but the Dr. Who kink meme wasn't limited to Nine and Ten and it seemed to do quite well.
Does anyone here think it sounds like a good idea? I'd really love to see one, and if I thought they would come, I would build it. :-)

Apologies for those on the other comms I post to. I'm checking through where I posted stuff, and realized that I never posted my Porn Battle ficlets to any LJ communities. Since my contribution to Porn Battle 8 was basically "Q gets it on with half the canon starship captains", and four of said ficlets were either slash or femslash, I thought perhaps I should post those ones here, but since there are four of them and I don't want to be spammy, I'm just going to do one post. There's three Picard/Q and one Kirk/Q (I'd also written one Janeway/Q, but that's het, so it's not posted here.) With the exception of "Need", they have all been expanded beyond what appeared in Porn Battle 8, because even the expanded length of Dreamwidth's allowed comment length wasn't enough for my wordiness and I ended up hacking them up a lot to make them fit in the posts there. These are the original full-size versions.
