ABOUT TAKIGAWA EIJI
☆ Hailed from Osaka, Takigawa Eiji graduated from the law department of Kounan Daigaku (Konan University) at Kobe, before he's pursued his career in the entertainment industry.

☆ He made his first big break on 2002, as the official icon of the energy drink, Lipovitan D, along with long-time icon, Kosugi Kane, the son of the legendary martial art actor, Kosugi Shou. The company which produces LipoD feels that Takigawa Eiji offers the right aspects for the younger target market for the drink: passion, determination, cheerfulness, youth and intelligence.

☆ He is most known as his role on Musical ~ Tennis no Oujisama performances, as Tezuka Kunimitsu, the stoic and no-nonsense captain of Seishun Gakuen Boys Tennis Club. He first appeared on the show, more familiarly known as TeniMyu, on 2003 and ended his role as Tezuka Kunimitsu on the graduation show on the beginning of 2005.

☆ Besides LipoD, Takigawa Eiji has also been featured on various CMs, such as Marui Department Store, Tokai Network Club and others.

☆ He starred on a stageplay titled NY青春物語～アランとバディ～ (NY Story ~Alan and Buddy~), on June 2004.

☆ Takigawa Eiji had an event titled premier party 「COOL BODY」 on September 2004, which was continued on September 2005 with premier party 「COOL BODY Ⅱ」.

☆ Takigawa Eiji has released a DVD called Treasure of Age (and some sites also call it as 'Treasure of Eiji') on 2004, which was produced by Marvelous Entertainment.

☆ On October 2005, Takigawa Eiji took part on a stageplay titled Koibumiya Ichiyou, based on the true story of Higuchi Ichiyou, one of the most influential female authors in Japan, who wrote the famous novel Takekurabe.

☆ On 2006, Takigawa Eiji took part in a series of variety show episodes titled KusuKusu on Chukyo TV.

☆ Takigawa Eiji took part on Chuusingura ~ Mitou Koumon Gaiden, Genroku Adauchi ura Jijou, a stageplay based on the true story of 47 ronin and their noble honor, on September 2006.

☆ On October 7, 2006, Takigawa Eiji had another fan event titled Fight de OOSAKA at Teijin Hall, Osaka.

☆ On Kimeru's single, TIMELESS, that was released on October 4, 2006, Takigawa Eiji took part on the PV that's only on the Type A Limited Edition of the single. There's also a short movie, TIMELESS ~The Movie, that was released on DVD on November 18, 2006.

☆ Takigawa Eiji graduated as Lipovitan D icon on March 29, 2007.

☆ On TeniMyu Supporters DVD vol. 5 that was released on April 28, 2007, Takigawa Eiji appeared along with the other Seigaku 1st Generation cast.

☆ Takigawa Eiji played the role Tsukamoto Hidemi on the live-action adaptation of the manga series Mousou Shoujo Otaku Kei by Konjou Natsumi.

☆ Starting on April 1, 2008, Takigawa Eiji is managed by Shochiku Entertainment, the talent, stageplay and actors' subsidiary of Shochiku.
