travis_x_derek is a slash community for Travis Richter and Derek Bloom of the band From First to Last. The word "slash" refers to homosexual pairings, either male/male or female/female. But obviously it's male/male here. If you don't like this, then please leave now.
This is a place where you can post fan fiction, graphics, etc. As long as it has to do with Travis/Derek.

When posting a story:

• Use an LJ cut. The code for this can be found below.

• Please use a beta. [A beta reader is someone who reads over your story and checks for spelling/gramatical errors, as well as other things having to do with content, such as plot. Basically, a proofreader.] The list of betas can be found further down. If you don't use a beta, then please make sure there are as few errors as possible in your story.



• Post the links to previous chapters. It makes things much simpler. If you don't know the code for linking, it can be found below.

• Stories with multiple pairings are welcome, as long as Travis/Derek is one of the main pairings.
  

• Use an LJ-cut for all graphics. No matter how small. The code for an LJ-cut is located above.



• Don't post icons, unless they have to do with Travis and/or Derek.



• If you do make an icon post, you can put up to 3 teasers outside the cut, but the rest must be put under a cut.

• Stay active. If you read someone's story, comment it.



• Constructive criticism is welcome, but don't be too harsh. LJ drama=lame.



• If you want to promote a community, go ahead. But no spamming or anything. And if we think the promotion post is entirely irrelevant, there is a chance it will be deleted.



• No girlfriend bashing. It's lame.



• No m-preg stories. That is also pretty lame.



• Keep the netspeak to a minimum.
