The glacier behind melted and made the blue-green lagoon hidden in these mountains. This lagoon doesn't appears in any map, including GPS, and has no name. My boyfriend Bruno (expert mountain guide) take us there. Maybe this lagoon has around ten years.
Altitude: 4800-5000 masl. Very bad wheather: rainy, snowy, stormy, muddy (and all possible combinations), near 0°C all day long. Total (walking) traveling distance: 17 Km. Clothes all wet and frozen. Plus: blocked Central Highway, more than an hour waiting during our way back to Lima.

Three years, people!! a lot of things happened to me in this time, I simply can't believe I was posting my photos during +3 years! (ended university career, got a job, got my bachelor degree, got my Laptop, etc etc).
But, in some way, very little has changed here.

This was another trip for working stuff. I had enough time for walking thru the city a little.
In Perú, every city has its parade ground and it includes a church (I can't remember if its clock was working).
This is what in spanish is known as "Paseo Cívico" (Sorry, kids, I have no idea how to translate it) but if you want to go here, you must ask for la "Plaza de Armas" (parade ground).
By night, also early in the morning, it is cold and cloudy. But around 10 am it starts to get sunny :)

I found this poor lizard in the hard conditions inside the Playa Bonita Resort facilities (the air conditioning was too cold).
It seemed to be dead but it wasn't. I took it outside and put it under the warm sun rays. I returned few hors later. It wasn't there :)
