So, I might be going to a fry party tonight. (My friends are weird.) What are some wonderfully trashy things to put in a deep fryer?

I put little skewers/Popsicle sticks in them and then put in the freezer. you'll have a melty mess if you dont freeze them first.

I feel compelled to send this to everyone I was friends with in high school just to show the cultural shift in the meaning of the phrase "fry party." JUST SAYIN'.

I'm guessing acid? My nieces used to drop acid and call it frying.

Of course I could be way off. : )

I'd worry for the sanctity of the second party; god only KNOWS what kind of abstract stuff would seem like good deep-frying material at that point. :)

Garlic cloves rolled in egg and then breadcrumbs/panko crumbs. SO AWESOME!!!

Deep fried tatertots are pretty awesome, too.

Macaroni and cheese!!
http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,,FOOD_9936_35007,00.html

(yes, it's a Paula Deen recipe!)
I've also seen her do these with strips of bacon wrapped around them, because frying macaroni and cheese simply isn't heart-attack-inducing enough.

Battered corn on the cob. Make sure it's from the frozen "cobbettes" for extra trashiness. Ooh, or frozen oreos, also battered first.

Tightly wrap your favorite candy bar in a flour tortilla or chimmie chunga wrapper, fry it up, then eat with ice-cream on the side.

White trash donuts.

You take biscuits in a can, and poke a hole through the center of each one. Roll in powdered sugar when you are done.

Fucking heavenly. My boyfriend asked for this in lieu of a birthday cake last year.

Spiral sliced apples (batter dipped?), then sprinkled with cinnamon sugar.

button mushrooms, take out the stems, fill with either cream cheese or guacamole, put two together so the filling is inside, dip in egg wash then breadcrumbs.

soooo good and very heavy on the stomach.
