| About: | This is place to discuss queer theory and gender theory as it relates to genderqueer, transsexual and transgender subjectivities, historicities, identities, experiences, lives, etc.
Inquiry into the constructs of sex and gender, gender as performance, gender as an act and public vs. private self-representation are all possible discussion topics. We can brainstorm ideas for papers, analyze and critique pop culture, or just banter back and forth. Using big fancy words certainly isn't a requirement for this community, though public mental masturbation isn't really discouraged. |
