Welcome to yet one of many horse communities in the LJ-world. This one is specifically geared towards training horses. We don't all claim to be experts here (even if some get paid for it) but in some part ANYONE who rides horses participates in training horses. Be it teaching a horse how to pick up a flying lead change, introducing a horse to the Parelli games, imprinting a newborn foal, getting a horse ready for cross country water jumps, a horse suddenly turned head shy, or any of a hundred things .... a community where we can share experiences, toss in two cents, share a recent book read or seminar attended, or even recommend you seek a local trainer to help you out.

We'll all have opinions and ideas - and won't all agree. But you'll notice that the "experts" out there do not agree 100% either. So please SHARE your views and reasonings, but respect the choices that each rider/owner/trainer makes.

Anything goes, general courtesy is requested.
