Reminder. Drabbles. This community isn't called tpm100 for nothing. The challenge is to write exactly 100 words. It's meant as a writing exercise, but even more so, an exercise in editing your own fics.
A 100 word drabble usually takes less than 10 minutes in writing, and up to one hour of editing. The exercise is to find out what is really important for the little story you are going to tell, and what is not. Also, please keep in mind that a good drabble is a drabble that actually tells a story or sets a certain mood. The challenge is to get your point across in only 100 words. Even a drabble needs a structure, a structure which usually ends with a climax.
So please, try to post only drabbles which have 100 words, and have been checked for spelling and grammar!
Challenges will be posted on Monday but all challenges are always open for submissions. Please identify which challenge you are posting for in the tags option and/or in your header. A complete list of past challenges can be found HERE.
Suggestions for upcoming challenges should be made in the comment section of the most recent challenge post.
Pairings. Every pairing is welcome (even JarJar/Random Swamp Frog). Submissions can be het, gen or slash, although the maintainers have a soft spot for slash.
Amended rules: If you want to post an ad on this community, please ask the moderators first, and we will decide if your advertisement is on topic or not. Off-topic posts will be deleted.
While the community is called TPM100 because it originated in the TPM fandom, we specifically call it a Star Wars/The Phantom Menace community because all pairings (slash or het), all ratings (gen to porn), from all points in the Star Wars timeline are welcome.
