Whoops [09 Sep 2004|10:33pm] _diamondicons [ mood | sorry ] [ music | whose line is it anyway ] Okay, so I made a tiny mistake. As I realized by fatmonica's nominations, I realized I forgot one little detail. When you nominate your icons, you're supposed to nominate them under categories which are located in the userinfo. There are 10 categories, but you need to nominate in a minimum of 5. You may nominate up to 3 of your own icons. Please look in the userinfo for the rules too if you have a chance. Reminder [09 Sep 2004|12:20pm] _diamondicons Hello everyone! This is a reminder for everyone to get their nominations in by next Friday. I'm the only one who has nominated so far and in order for this to work, we need more nominations. If you're having trouble finding icons, friends_icons is a good place to start. I'll also try to have a list up of people that make Friends icons so you can see those too. Also, we have a new affiliate; gg_awards. If you're not sure how this awards thing works, that's a good place to see an awards community in action. Currently, they're on hiatus, but you can look back at entries and they're a great example. Welcome Entry [06 Sep 2004|04:48pm] _diamondicons Hello everyone! As this is the first entry to the community, I'll just make a few quick notes for you all. Normally, voting lasts about a week but since this is the first week, I'll make the deadline for nominations to be in on September 17, 2004. You can find icons at friends_icons if you're having trouble. Not sure how to nominate? Here's how: When you find icons you think are worthy of nominating, you upload and save to your server (NO direct linking; it's just wrong). Then you post in the community with your nominations (preferably under a cut if there's more than 3). When the nomination period is over, I will round up all the nominees and you vote for your favorite one.
