Aboutwelcome to the torrid girls journal. this journal is an off-shoot of the "torrid girl's realm" group on msn (http://groups.msn.com/torridgirlsrealm). we are girls (and guys) who are lovers of Torrid and it's clothes. we promote size acceptance. any and all are welcomed to join. just a few simple guidelines - adapted from the realm rules though we are a group based on the Torrid chain store, we are also just a group of open and like-minded people. though the majority of the posts here are typically about Torrid, plus-sized clothing, or size acceptance in general, off topic posts are ok. if you just had a bad day and need someone to share with or maybe you've got some cool new icons you think we'd like...there's no problem posting that. this is not a solicitation or dating service. any inappropriate discourse of this nature will be deleted by management, with an explanation to the group and the offending member removed without warning. X-rated sexual content will not be tolerated in this group as our members do include minors. exceptions are few, but you should know what goes too far, if not ask. absolutely NO "flaming" of other members will be tolerated. this includes name calling, putting down or targeting of other members in a condescending, derogatory or hurtful fashion. be courteous please. that's all we really ask. offenders will be warned ONCE. wingnut propoganda and solicitation are not welcome. offenders will be warned ONCE. promotions of other groups or websites are allowed, but only by regular members and those who participate on a semi-regular basis.
