Wow, I feel like I found this place at the right time, kinda. I went hunting for a community like this because I was so peeved to hear about all these shows only yesterday.

I go to the University of Ottawa so I'm usually out of the loop about what happens at home. Seriously though, when did Electro explode like this? The end of March seems packed with some awesome shit.

Anyways, I'm coming home for MSTRKRFT and Simian Mobile! I would love to add Chromeo to that list too... I just don't know if my wallet could handle it.

I guess now would be a good time to revive this since Electro seems to be the current flavor of the month in Toronto now. If u wanna hear the best in underground electro check out my radioshow, Dark Harmonies (http://www.myspace.com/darkharmonies), that has been bringing the latest in good dark electro since 1999. If you were listening, you would have heard artists like Jus+ice and Digitalism more then a year ago.

Also the two guys who brought Toronto it's first weekly Electro night, "Electrocute Sundays" at the Lava Lounge circa 2001, are starting a new weekly Electro night at club "Z" 812 Dundas St W (2 blocks West of Bathurst). Phink and LaMort will bring u the best in new electro sounds starting this Friday March 14. Every week we will have guest DJ's. This Friday we'll have Barbi and Shit Le Merde.
