Looking for a step-above a clinic for a potentially torn PCL/ACL

Toronto,

Though this does fall under the sub-category of clinics, what I am looking for is a bit more specific -
I'm pretty sure that I have torn either my PCL or ACL.
I know that I need to see a doctor and I know that I will need X-rays and potentially an MRI however I don't really count this as an emergency - the pain and uselessness of my knee will not stop my heart. I would much prefer finding a clinic with X-ray facilities on site and obviously the ability to book the MRI at an appropriate location should this come up.

I guess my question has two parts.

1) Is anyone aware of a "step-above-a-clinic" center, something like an Urgent Care Center, with X-rays on site?

2) Has anyone had a similar/same injury in Toronto? Any do's or don'ts on where to go/proper protocol?

Oh - also, I don't have medical insurance (only OHIP) and am not backed by bags of green, if that means anything.

Cheers.

Does anyone know of someone or somewhere I can look for a dj? Maybe a dj in training who needs experience? We pretty much know what songs we like/don't like so it's more organising the songs and if they can MC that would be a bonus but not required. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

cabin near algonquin park for rent - thanksgiving weekend

I'm thinking of heading out to Algonquin Park for Thanksgiving Weekend (10th October - 13th October) with a few friends. As this plan was sort of made in haste, most of the accomodation in the park has been taken up, and being inexperienced campers we're not really keen on camping out in the cold.

So I was wondering if anyone here personally owns a cabin/cottage at Algonquin Park (preferably inside the park or within its borders) or knows someone who does and is willing to rent it out for the weekend? We're willing to negotiate prices though hopefully it's nothing too pricey, as we're students and fairly poor.

Thank you!

Is your cat missing?

Sunday around 6:30 while driving I saw someones cat hit by a car.
It was a gray and white (beige?) tabby with white patches.
This was at Carlaw & Eastern Ave.

She(?) was crossing the road and was hit by a car. The guilty car didn't stop but we did. Another car stopped and the man driving carried your cat's body off the center of the road.

When I drove back 20 minutes later the body was gone. I stopped and talked with some skateboarders who said a homeless fellow had gathered up the cat to bury it.

If this area/description matches your missing cat - e-mail me and I'll give you more details. I'd rather this cats family have peace of mind not looking for their missing cat and knowing what happened to her.
I've posted this around on Craigslist and Kiji. Hopefully the family will see it.

I'm leaving for vacation early Friday morning, and I'd like to dye my hair before then.

I failed at planning, and didn't order dye online, which is presenting a problem - I'm looking for Manic Panic in Electic Lava, which I can't seem to find (mostly, I've been to Shoppers, and apparently they never carry that colour). Anyone know where else I might find it? Or another semi-permanent dye in an equally unnatural orange that isn't Directions?

I'm also wondering if anyone knows of a salon that would let me provide my own dye and put the colour in for me.

Even better would be a salon that happens to carry a range of unnatural colours that won't charge an arm and a leg and insist on bleaching my hair first.

I'd prefer somewhere downtown, but as long as it's TTC accessible, I can manage.

Thanks!

To any cat owners out there:

If you use the Cat-It (or Dog-It) drinking fountain for your pet(s), i have a bunch of filters that i don't need anymore. Nine to be exact (3 packages of 3 filters). The filters for the Cat-It and Dog-It systems differ only in colour (blue for cats, red for dogs) so are interchangeable.

If interested, email me at jlmcnair at gmail dot com.

Edit: Close to being sorted - thanks to all who replied!

Vet recommendation for East-Yorker?

Hello, I am wondering if anyone can recommend an affordable vet that is located within or close to the Beaches? I have heard of Kew Beach Vet Hospital but I don't know how reasonable the rates are considering the location, everything tends to be pricier in this neighbourhood. Unfortunately I'm pretty broke right now but I'd like to get my cat checked out as she's been wounded by another cat in the household. So, if anyone has a decent vet recommendation for me, kindly do leave a comment!

Much appreciated.

Max agency...a scam?

So of the last agency to approach me in the summer was "Max Agency," which reputably seems the most sketchy, especially since my google search on them. So I'm sure at least some of you have been approached by these kids or at least know someone who has. Does anyone know what the deal is? Is the agency actually a scam or are they for real? I'd like to know so I can warn people away from them.

Cross-posting.
