From the looks of this member poll, the majority of you voted for more Image Challenges. The next one down from that is Theme Challenges. So since we have seen a lot of Image Challenges here recently, we are going to try out a Theme Challenge. We haven't had one of these in a while.

This week your theme will be: STAR(S)

Most of Tori's songs have a very serene, tranquil feel to them. So what else puts you in this mood? Well for me, it's looking up at the stars on a dark, silent night. That is why I chose this theme. I can see a lot of elegant, peaceful icons being created for this challenge.

The main rule is to follow the theme. Therefore, text is MANDATORY and it must have the word "star" or "stars" in it. Other than that, you are free to do what you wish with this challenge. You may use any Tori image from any era. You may also create quote icons, with only text and no images. And lastly, you may animate your icons for this challenge. This week's challenge is up to you, so be original and let the creativity come out!

Need some help with lyrics? Here are a few examples:
"Sure that star can twinkle; I know she's watching that star; But I can see that star" (from Twinkle)
"They're too many stars and not enough sky" (from The Waitress)
"That comes with the Morning Star" (from Mrs. Jesus)
"I want you more than the stars and the sun" (from Cool On Your Island)
"Until then there will be starlight shining down" (from Maybe California)

Remember, these are just examples. You may use them if you want, or you may find your own. There are more where those came from. Have fun with it.

There was one problem with the voting, but everything in this post is correct. If you voted for more or less than the three icons, I did not count your votes. If you can't vote for the desired number we ask, then just don't vote. Of course it changes from challenge to challenge, but that is why we make the rules clear for each voting round. We have to treat all submissions the same.

BANNER UPDATE:
Ah... I was FINALLY able to get Photoshop back onto my computer, which I am very excited about. So that means WINNING BANNERS AGAIN! I am currently working on those. I wasn't able to make them starting from Challenge #118 to the last challenge, which isn't too bad. I will catch up and post all winning banners in one entry. So look out for those!

First off, I am sorry the results for this challenge are a couple of days late. Like I said in a previous post, I have not been home and there is no internet connection where I am staying. Because of this sudden change, I will have to put this community on a mini-hiatus. This is only short-term and the new challenge will be posted on Monday, May 11th.


No Third Place was awarded this time around, due to the small number of submissions and a three-way tie between the remaining icons.
