top ten tunes Welcome to Top Ten Tunes, a music sharing community with a twist. The premise is simple - upload 10 (or less/more) songs you're currently in love with, be they indie, hardcore, industrial, hip-hop, Broadway, or punk. Then, tell us a little about the song, perhaps why it's special to you, or just snippets of the lyrics. If you enjoy discovering new music, go ahead and join! |
how to post - First, upload each song you would like to post to the internet. Sites you can upload to for free include sendspace.com, sharebee.com, rapidshare.com, and megaupload.com. - Then, use the following form to post your songs! Remember to replace the URL "sendspace.com" with the link to the songs you've uploaded. Also, you do NOT have to post 10 songs if you don't want to - if there's one really special song, go for it. Or even 20! 10 is just a nice, round, even number. (And it provided great alliteration for the community name) - Also, try to remember to "tag" each of the artists you post. |
a few things - Comment if you decide to take something! I can't stress this enough. This is a community, not your local grab-it-shack. - Your post can contain all one artist, or many different genres. It's all up to you! - You can post as often and as many times as you would like. Your top ten list now might have completely changed in a week's time. - All music downloaded should be used for preview purposes, and I encourage you to purchase the artist's album if you enjoyed a certain song. |
