Title: Siege.
Rating: PG (Violence)
Summary: In this world, there is only the battle. No lives are lost, no victory spoils. Just the battle, and the fun that comes with it.
Setting: Stage - Castle Siege
Genre: Smash! (Action/Slight Comedy)
Characters: Pretty much anyone and everyone I can throw in from Smash Bros. Brawl, with a few extra cameos that I know people wanted to see. (Megaman, anyone?)
Disclaimer: I own none of the characters portrayed in this one-shot. Those belong to their respective owners. Various portions of this were ripped from my friend, who I will edit with his name if he so chooses. I'm building on his stuff. I also am doing this on the influence of 2 AM in the morning and massive caffeine overdose. Do not blame me, I'm crazy. I admit nothing! Nothing I say!
Siege Castle. A battlefield unlike one normally experienced. The battle here was for glory, and tales told in the company of good friends. Nothing more.
Megaman rode on a rush color schemed Robot Unicorn, storming a castle, with Roy, Marth, and Ike, poised at different parapets around the castle walls, ready to defend. He stood bareback on the unicorn, firing off Mega-Buster shots at oncoming arrows as his steed gained more and more ground towards the moat. The entire time the three of them are just standing there, biding their time until their foe undoubtedly makes it past the outer wall. Each of them poised on separate walls, each wall in a series, one in front of the other. Outer wall, outer court wall, inner court wall, and inner castle wall. outer wall guarded only by grunts, one of the three on each of the other walls.
As Megaman gets nearer and nearer to the moat, he realizes that some odd...blue blur is patrolling the moat from atop the water at suprising speeds. "What the.." Megaman utters to himself, not waiting for an explanation, taking aim and firing at the water. Suddenly, Sonic jumps from the surface, hurling his curled-up self at the robotic invader.
Blaster fire hails the castle from above. Marth and the others take cover. Samus and LInk drop down to the courtyard, after being ferried in by Fox and Falco's airships, the same airships that released the blaster fire.
Megaman has no time to react as Sonic smashes into him, forcing him off his robotic steed and onto the ground. Megaman starts to stand up as Sonic flies up into the air and descends upon the Blue Bomber once more.
Marth, Ike and Roy scramble to defend the castle, as Fox and Falco swoop down upon the castle, while Samus and Link group with Megman to storm the front. As Sonic descends to pound on the Blue B omber once more, Samus launches her Grappling Beam, seizing the blue blur in mid air, the momentum swinging her around, she releases the grapple beam, hurling Sonic at the castle's walls. Sonic rebounds off the walls, maintaining his speed, as the walls crack and crumble from the impact. Marth and Roy ran out from the castle, brandishing their swords and charging. Samus jumped back as Roy's Flare Blade swiped the air where she had been just moments been. Bursts of light flashed in the air in synch with the clashing of blades as the Hero of Hyrule and the Prince of Altea parried each others blows. The Master Sword's wielder and the weilder of Falchion were parallel in skill and strength.
The Blue Bomber fires shots, but can't nail the quick hedgehog. A homing attack knocks Megaman back, but enough to give him the oppourtunity to retaliate, as Sonic charges, so does he - but in the other way. Sonic runs straight into a charged buster shot, being blasted backward on his own. Meannwhile, Roy can't seem to gain any ground, with Samus's charge beams barely being avoided. As Roy charges again, a Super Missile collides with him. He flies backward, hitting the castle walls, before charging again to confront Samus.
Again the clashing of legendary swords ring out as Marth and Link clash once more. Link sees this is not going well and decides to tank tactics, backing up, Link pulls out his Clawshot, launching it at Marth, who's snagged and pulled in. Link slashes MArth upward, then jumping and hitting Marth with the Master Sword. He flies into the air, landing heavily on the ground.
The castle was in runs from Fox and Falco's bombing run, though the castle's catapults launching into the air brough down Falco's fighter, Falco ejects before the crash impact, landing next to Ike, as he fires off a blaster at Ike, who's stunned. As they go into their fighting stances, the battlefield descends into chaos. Wounds and blasts echo over the field, until a disembodied voice calls out the final seconds.
