It's been already six months since the last installment of this wonderful series was released, but I bet you haven't forgotten about it!! Crystalize (chapter 04) by Kazuka Minami (aka Haruka Minami) After blowing up Trowa's mobile suit –and nearly killing Heero in the process– the Sandrock and Wing Pilots seek refuge in the  Cinq Kingdom in order to heal totally and plan what their next step will be. But Quatre is slowly torturing himself to death, falling in a spiral of self-loathing and sadness because of what was done in a moment of madness... Meanwhile, far from keeping a grudge for what happened, Heero decides to have a chat with the fair-haired pilot and help him to straighten up his feelings and efforts in the right path. Happy Mother's Day!!! Again, it's been a while since we could offer a new fix for our fellow Gundam Wing addicts, but  I'm afraid RL is being quite demanding for all Todokanai members and we just can't go faster... ^^;;;;. Still, hope you enjoy and treasure this new treat!! Eccentric Boys by Ruri Minatsuki Today's release is another 2x1 story (bet all Duo & Heero fans out there were wondering if we had forgotten about them...) by "Relish Max", the one-person circle of Ruri Minatsuki, one author who –for a very short span of time– dedicated her talent to the wonderful Gundam Wing world before jumping into more fashionable fandoms inside the japanese doujin market. A real pity since Minatsuki-san's style, while not visually stunning, is very expressive and well defined thanks to her round, thick lines and her good grip of both patterns and movement. One of the very few treasures she left behind is "Eccentric Boys", a calm and beautiful piece situated in the last few chapters of the series -when everybody have been reunited in Peacemillion- and in which we can enjoy a short parenthesis just before the end of the war.  All the pilots know the end is close, and they are facing it in their very own way: Duo longs to be with Heero knowing it will be probably his last chance to do so, while the Perfect Soldier is trying to ignore everything around him and focusing in the oncoming battle, even at the expense of his well gained resting time...   ( Download Links! ) Enjoy! Hello again, my friends!! Sorry for the huge delay... this was supposed to be a White Day release but seems RL keeps popping its ugly head and we just couldn't make it in time... I hope you will still enjoy this release! Dunno when the next one will be... ^^;;; Virus by Non Hizui Glass Globe (aka Garasu no Chikyuugi) is the one-person circle of the very talented Non Hizui, one of those authors whose doujin are recognizable at just a glance thanks to her very personal style composed of thick, angular lines and sketchy yet detailed artwork. This combination gives shape to amazingly strong, expressive drawings and emotive stories starred by stylized and -let's admit it- plain gorgeous characters. By the way, Non Hizui is another of those 1x2 crazy obsessed doujinshika, so her doujin always try to show us a different side to their relationship. And a perfect example of this is today's release: a sad and melancholic piece with a quiet Duo and a strangely fragile Heero coming to terms with their budding relationship while an unstoppable virus causes havoc in the world and their own lifes... and not only in the metaphorical sense...  ( Download Links! ) Enjoy!! Happy Valentine's Day, my faithful GW-lovers!! *huggles* Today is the perfect date to express our appreciation for each other! So is there any better way to spread the Gundam Wing love than with some Heero & Duo action? OTP all the way!! (This is a lot better than chocolate... and sweeter too!! ^__~) Silence of Lovers by Yumi Moriyama The circle Trick Star is –together with 1.2Finish– one of the most important standard bearers of purest 1x2 flag (commutative property is not applied here ^^;;). It was created in 1995 by Yumi Moriyama, a very prolific and talented author whose works are considered real classics nowadays thanks to their unadulterated view of the dominant and submissive roles inside Heero & Duo's relationship. In all her stories, Heero is reserved, calm and slightly distant... although with a huge overprotective streak regarding the braided pilot. On the other side, Duo is smart, sensitive, emotionally more vulnerable... and always insecure about the Perfect Soldier feelings. Of course, it goes without saying the art is  amazing: stylized, detailed and simply gorgeous.   Today's release is situated somewhere between episodes 38 and 39 (you could say it's a poetic license, since it could have never happened in the series ^^;;;). Duo is feeling increasingly uneasy and lost without really knowing why, so after an enlightening conversation with Quatre, he departs for Earth in search of the only person who can give him his balance back: the G-pilot who saved his life at the Luna Base so many months ago and he hasn't met ever since... We are back, my friends!! I should have released this doujin a week ago, but lately RL is catching up with me ^^;;;.  So in order to make up for it, we have two stories in just one doujinshi!! Blendy by Niki Kajiwara & Emu Nazono Today's release is a joint project of two wonderful authors with very different styles and tastes. The first one is Niki Kajiwara, an author whose strong, clean black ink lines reflect perfectly the turbulent and clashing relationship between Wufei and Treize, always driven by conflicting emotions they just can't fight. Niki's story, the first and longest in the doujin, is a reenactment of the famous sword fight between the lonely dragon and the proud OZ general at the end of episode 8, and could easily be considered a prequel of White Star (one of our previous releases). The author of the second story is Emu Nazono, whose soft lines and ethereal art are at the service of the more intangible doubts and insecurities that torment Quatre and Trowa while trying to define their feelings. Not much action in her pages, just a little piece of conversation... a moment of peace while the war is still raging around them. Surprise!! On New Year's Eve we all wished for a year full of Gundam Wing awesomeness. So, truth to our word, here we are again to make those wishes come true!! Is there any sweeter way to spend your time? ^___~ Tsuki no Kodomo (Book 7 of 8) by Kume Natsuo The second to last installment of NATTSU's masterpiece is situated somewhere between episodes 43 and 45. The main events of the series are still covered, but 99% of the scenes in this book are completely new and original –and therefore completely awesome– focusing in the relationship, or lack of thereof, between our favorite pilots.. Peacemillion. At the gates of the final battle, the triangle between Duo, Heero and Trowa grows even more strained: Duo starts avoiding Heero, unable to forgive his betrayal. The Wing Pilot, with his deepest wishes crumbling all around him and without any reason to keep on living anymore, embarks in a suicidal mission. Merry Christmas and happy holidays my dearest friends!! ^O^/ Here we are, yet another year, with a beautiful Christmas themed doujin brought to you by our own Personal Gundam Wing Santa!! I can guess everybody has been a very very good child this year too, huh? ^__~ Snowflake's Land by Hitomi Doumoto High-Tide is, in my humble opinion, one of the best Gundam Wing circles to ever come across to. This circle was created back in 1999 (when the Gundam Wing glow was already diminishing) by the absolutely talented Hitomi Doumoto. And *right now* -nearly ten years later- she is still releasing awesome doujin for all the faithful fans that keep the fandom alive and, without the shadow of a doubt, is the most active, prolific and famous Gundam Wing circle nowadays. With some exceptions, most Doumoto's doujin are set in a post-war environment, so our G-pilots are depicted as grownups who struggle everyday to heal their scars and go on with their lives in times of peace. Her plots are profound and thoughtful: every word and every image has an special meaning, and you can just *feel* how deep-rooted the relationship between all the pilots is. And of course –please don't let the cover fool you– the art is simply awesome: Very expressive drawing with thick ink lines, predominance of black and white and a total absence of shadows that, overall, gives away a very calm and adult aura. Today's release is a bittersweet 1x2 story about Duo and Heero's Christmas together: There is no rest for the Preventers, as there is no time to make holidays wishes... but the L2 braided agent already wrote his letter to Santa long long time ago... Hello again, my friends! Actually, I have to apologize both to our readers and staff... because I've had this doujin stored and ready to go since... uh... september. I was so absolutely *sure* I had already released it that I totally forgot about it! ^^;;;. I just realized, so I had to release it right away!! Hope you enjoy it... and sorry for the delay!! Monopolize by Kazuka Minami (aka Haruka Minami) Today's release includes all the ingredients that make Haruka Minami's doujin so delightful. That means awesome drawings (more relaxed and stylized than her earlier works), lots of cuteness, fluffiness and, of course, lots of very steamy pics... You won't find much of a plot in here but... who needs it? Once in a while, even our beloved G-pilots need a break from all the angst dominating their lives, don't they? Happy Thanksgiving, my friends!! In fact this release was supposed to come out yesterday, but since I couldn't make it in time now it looks way cooler ^^;;;. Anyway, I swear the story keeps getting better and better, and it's only two books left now!! ^__~ Tsuki no Kodomo (Book 6 of 8) by Kume Natsuo The sixth installment of the most widely spread Gundam Wing doujin war series roughly covers episodes 35 through halfway episode 42. Opposite to the previous books, Kume Natsuo kind of skips through the events in the series, just giving a quick review of the most important scenes before concentrating in the most tasty and enjoyable part: Peacemillion. In today's release the G-pilots find their way to each other, realizing that fighting together is the only way to achieve victory. With the five young warriors together in the same place for the first time since the beginning of the story, NATTSU sharpens her skills adding lots of original scenes and beautiful piece of conversations that develop, even further, the complex love triangle between Duo, Heero and Trowa. This chapter is a cute, short story situated in some undetemined moment after episode 7 and before episode 24 (that is before that fateful and deadly encounter between Heero, Trowa and Quatre.). After spending some time hiding between the maguanacs, Quatre decides to take a break and visit the cirque that just arrived in town (with all his babysitters tailing behind, of course). He really wasn't expecting to find the mysterious and silent Heavyarms pilot working there. Neither was Trowa expecting to have the blond pilot performing in one of the circus shows!! Here we are again with a treat that will undoubtely make your day!  It's nothing less than the next book -the one with the most famous cover- of our joint project with awakening_fire!! We are past halfway now!! ^__~ Tsuki no Kodomo (Book 5 of 8) by Kume Natsuo The fifth installment of this 2x1 epic masterpiece covers all the events in the series from episode 26 to halfway episode 35. That's almost 10 episodes in just one go, but surprisingly, it doesn't feel rushed at all, as Kume Natssuo still manages to convey all important  scenes with a perfect sense of continuity. After Trowa's ultimate sacrifice, Quatre tries to find again a purpose for fighting. Heero starts a quest for his enemy, although he will discover what he is really looking for inside Zero system. Meanwhile, also inside Zero, Duo is confronted by his worst nightmare. Here we are again my fellow Gundam Wing friends!! I must admit this time the delay between releases it's totally my fault, because I've had this doujin in my comp for quite a few days ^^;;;. But I'm sure you will forgive my lateness as soon as you read it!! ^__^ Tsubasa wo Mogareta Chou no Yume by Yoshiki Seizi Under the very large circle name of "Bishounen Ikusei Iinkai" (literally "Comittee of Pretty Boys Growing" ^^;;;) you can find the works of the amazingly talented Yoshiki Seizi, an author whose doujin are still highly valued between Gundam Wing doujin collectors. This could easily be because of the beautiful and detailed artwork, stylized –and handsome!– character designs and the very expressive lines of her drawings... but in fact the real reason of her fame is that Bishounen Ikusei Iinkai is the one and only Heero-centric circle in the whole 1x2 doujin world. Because, let's admit it, in most 1x2 stories Duo is the one who suffers and carries the weight of the plot while Heero is always depicted in the distance, being simply a supporting witness with a poker face. For most authors is difficult to relate to the Perfect Soldier and his deeply philosophical personality, but that's not a problem for Yoshiki Seizi. She is a die-hard Heero Fan and she has analyzed every aspect of his character up to the point she is able to perfectly portray his complex psychology. Seizi san's Heero is composed, but not unfeeling; he's strong, but clearly unsure and troubled; he's totally human, but still doesn't lose that air of mistery that always surrounds him.  Today's release is a compilation of short stories where Seizi-san proves her mastership on both serious and humorous stories showing us different stages of Heero and Duo's relationship. Hello there, fellow addicts!! It's been a little longer than two weeks since our last release, so we figured it was time to fight the witchdrayal with a 2x1 fix! And a really good at that!! as it's from the very author whose drawing you just can't tell apart from the official designs of the series!! All Over by Yuuki Kamon This is our second release by Yuuki Kamon (the rumored Sunrise animator with a secret double life as doujinshika) so I'm afraid there is not much I can add as introduction... ^^;;;. As you must know by now, Shirakawa Yofune Rengou is simply one of the most valued Gundam Wing circles of all time and their doujin are still the most desired in the fandom (I can guarantee that they sell pretty high in Yahoo Auctions). But it's really no wonder, as their sketchy but *perfectly* cannon art is just too irresistible for any Duo & Heero fan!! With today's release Yuuki Kamon show us her both her humorous and serious side: The first one-shot of this compilation is a smutty and funny story about Duo's bad luck strike at gambling (and about what Heero ask of him in return of a loan...^__~ ) and the second one is a beautiful and nostalgic piece revolving around a sick Perfect Soldier and the Shinigami that watches over him... And yes, oh wonders of wonders, it's a 3x4!!! Secret by Shihno Ya Trowa and Quatre fans, today is your day!! We have been neglecting you for far too long (I think it's been... euhh... AGES since our last 3x4 release ^^;;;) so here is a new one-shot by Shihno Ya, a very talented author of the circle Neko Shihno, mainly dedicated to the funny side of Trowa and Quatre's relationship. With an amazing art style incredibly close to cannon (her G-boys are simply to die for) Shihno Ya's doujin are always damn funny –sometimes close to surrealist– and sprinkled with beautiful and tender moments that will fulfill any sappy requirement!! Hello there, my friends!! Don't get used to it, but here we are again -only seven days since our last release- with another doujin treat!! And it's nothing less than the long awaited next installment of the one doujinshi series that no Gundam Wing fan should miss!! Tsuki no Kodomo (Book 3 of 8) by Kume Natsuo The third book of this wonderful epic follows very closely -yet again- the events of the anime series, covering from episode 16 to episode 20.  Or, in other words, from Heero and Zechs's duel in Antarctica to Duo's rescue from OZ's claws.  As usual, NATTSU subtly changes some of the original scenes, adding beautiful pieces of conversations and sometimes new situations that convey a whole different meaning to every word and glance exchanged between the characters.    In this part, Trowa can't control his new-found feelings, Heero still doesn't understand what human touch really means, and Duo doesn't even know the perfect soldier is still alive. And to add to the confusion, the colonies turn their backs on the G-pilots, leaving them to fight alone in a war with no friends and only foes... No, you are note seeing things my fellow Heero/Duo fans!! Long time ago some of you asked for at least two non-angsty 1x2 releases to make up for all the angst and tears... so today we are  and we are honoring the deal!! Here is a  happy -but not sappy- one-shot to make you all satisfied! And I don't want to hear any complaint about the lack of 1x2 releases for a while, huh? ^__~ Sakana no Rikyu by Kazami Shou Created in 1995, Yukari Bunko was one of the first doujin circles to defend 1x2 in the endlessly vast sea of 2x1 dominating the first few years of the Gundam Wing doujin world. Soon enough one of their members, the tremendously talented Kazami Shou, made a name for herself thanks to her truly remarkable artwork (surprisingly close to Azumi Tohru's one I must admit, as even some of Kazami's later illustrations has been mistakenly attributed to Tohru in some webpages). Delivered with a beautiful linework, Kazami Shou's art is stylized and dynamic. Her drawing is detailed, with an amazing talent for shadows and patterns. Her portray of the G-pilots is engaging, capturing perfectly their complex personalities with an expressive and clean stroke, and, of course, she has a total mastership of layouts and narrative fluidity. Her stories focus mainly in Heero and Duo's tremendously conflictive relationship. Their contrasting characters clash all the time, and their encounters are anything but loving or pacific... Today's release, set in a boarding school -probably around Episode 9-, is the perfect example of this: Heero just can't make up his mind, he cannot decide if he can't stand Duo or if he can't get enough of him... Hello there, my fellow Gundam Wing Addicts! Suffering from withdrawal? In fact I received a couple of emails asking if we were still active... ^^;;;. But do not worry, my friends!! Though kind of slow, we are still alive and kicking! And bringing you all your most needed doujinshi fix!! A Play With a Happy Ending by Misato Tachibana Well, a promise is a promise, right? And after all that heavy angst we owed all 1x2 fans out there some happy doujinshi to make it up to you. Of course, it's our duty to stay true to our word... so here you are: a totally angst-free Heero/Duo short story that will definitely leave you with a very good aftertaste!! (and a happy ending, as the title says ^^UU). Misato Tachibana is the only author of the very short-lived circle Plastic Lollita. A very promising circle was created shortly after Endless Waltz and disappeared less than two years later leaving behind just a few hidden treasures for us to remember them. Regretfully, it's not really a strange story, as during the Gundam Wing boom in Japan (basically 1996-1999) appeared suddenly  thousand of new circles that vanished just as quickly when the afterglow started to fade. This doujin is one of those hidden treasures. A soft, simple and -though a little childish- very expressive drawing at service of a short, sweet and nostalgic story revolving around human being's most inner fear of being left alone. Just a little slice of life in a post-war world where Heero and Duo are still trying to find their rightful place. Duo has been having the most strangle and unsettling dreams of being lost in the middle of an endless sea... who will be able to find him and put his heart at ease? ( Download Links! ) Enjoy!! Good afternoon, my friends!! Here we are here again to give all  our fellow addicts a little taste of one of the most famous alternative  pairing of the whole Gundam Wing universe!! A 2x5 doujin no less!! The non-canon pairing whose fanbase is every bit as big and established in occident as the canon pairings' one! Eye -Love- by Arashi Konno As I stated above, just a quick look to the thousand of 2x5x2 fanfics out there serves to show the amazing number of people that think Wufei and Duo are perfect for each other. And everybody must admit that their personalities make them a very believable and interesting couple (you could say that it's just like Duo and Heero but with a twist). That's precisely why it's so surprising to discover how few japanese doujin are devoted to this pairing. In fact, there are only three circles, that I know of, that used to release Wufei/Duo stories. And, sadly, none of them lasted more than a couple of years after the Gundam Wing glow diminished. In my own opinion, the best and most productive of those circles is Crispy, the one-person circle by Arashi Konno. This author's style is really unique, always in pure black and white with rough, angular and mature lines. Maybe not as pleasing to the eye as others at first glance, but incredible expressive nonetheless. Likewise, her stories always thoughtful and sweet and capture perfectly the very special dynamics of Wufei and Duo's relationship, where words are not that necessary and every gesture, every glance is deeply meaningful. Of course, today's release is the perfect example of this: a short compilation of two beautiful post-war stories depicting their peaceful domestic life toghether, in which Duo just can't stop staring at Wufei, even though it can be really really unnerving sometimes...
